Re: In The Groove
ITG is harder than DDR in my opinion. But it has better songs, too. Much more of a challenge.. and I suck at it xD

Re: In The Groove
Yep, quads, triples... It's surely a fact. Whole lot better songs than DDR. ^_^

Re: In The Groove
Tried some 9's for the first time today(monolith, hybrid, tension) I got 40 something% for monolith and 65% for the other two.
I noticed that I do better without shoes on. But I'm using CF, so I'm gonna hurt myself later when I play harder songs, which is too bad. Btw, are your wrists supposed to hurt when you bar rape? I'm trying not to rely on the bar so much, but it's hard. |

Re: In The Groove
Even though I played much less intense ones, I was almost doing dips with the bar, so I guess that explains why.
Anyway, I tried some expert 9's this time. High: 53.53% July Euromix: 73.57% Ride the Bass: 80.14%(this should be an 8 >.>) D-Code: 78.09% Renaissance: 67.06% Dawn: 70.04% I decided to take one step further and tried a few 10's: Queen of Light: 64.00% Cryosleep: 56.03% Agent Blatant: 37.40% Horrible scores, I know, but it was my first try and it's been exactly a month since I played with a pad. Re: In The Groove
It's more of an opinion. For me, I like DDR songs more. Maybe because I'm into j-pop and dance music and such, but I heard that others like ITG music. It's just mere opinion.

Re: In The Groove
I started playing 6 months ago, I make it to the arcade every 2 weeks or so. Delerium and Vertex are the only 12s I can do so far but I have been smoking cigarettes for a while now, I'm trying to quit for games sake.

Re: In The Groove
akstylish, D-Code is actually considered a 10. I believe it was re-rated in ITG PC, but no one cared at all about it and still continued to think of it as a 10. Good job on Cryosleep though, that's a pretty difficult 10.
Also, why the hell isn't there an ITG accomplishment thread on FFR? |

Re: In The Groove
Thank you. I rechecked and D-Code expert is rated 9 in r21. I don't think it qualifies for a 10 anyway.

Also, the reason why it was rated a 10 was because of the 24ths making it difficult to FA/do well on. Passing-wise it would easily be a 9. Last edited by DarkCore; 07-3-2008 at 07:17 PM.. |

Re: In The Groove
Woot! I got a 98.39 on I Can Walk on Water, I Can Fly today!!!!
I want to 99 it so bad, but I don't think I have the FA for that. It was a FEC, 99 excellents. By the way, I went to take the SS and my card disconnected. ;_; I have a lower 98 on my card though. |

Re: In The Groove
Wait, you have 53% on High and 70% on Cryosleep? Good job on the improve, but you should definitely go back and replay some 9's. You should be able to 90% Birdie, IMO.
...speaking of Birdie, I got this last week. |

Re: In The Groove
I never said I was able to quad on Expert easily, haha. I've been playing dancing games for nearly 2 years now and that is my only quadstar on Expert...and yeah, let me tell you it wasn't easy at all to get.
But yeah, don't worry you'll get there eventually. I honestly started playing easy mode for a while and got some tristars and quads after a while. I was then able to FA 4th notes really well, as well as some 8ths. Then I moved up to easier songs on hard mode and got tristars...then I guess I just went from there. So yeah, basically I strongly suggest that you play easy for a while, as stupid as it sounds. It helped me majorly, who knows it could really help you too.
