Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
At least you should be able to tell what's onsync before stealing someone's sync.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I'm able to sync files by myself with no help at all. Sometimes I do use other people's syncs but that's only if i'm lazy. xD

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I thought I could be a man and do my sync myself, but you know how that turned out. =/
Also, right after submissions were closed I decided to start stepping again =/ I seriously have 5 or 6 files ready for submission and I'm working on at least 2 more. And they're not **** this time either! |

That's why you always need to pick out a really great song that fits in your comfortability area of stepping. If you have the slightest doubt in a song, scratch out the ideas you had for that song and start over with a bigger and better one. Chances are, you won't end up with a simfile that was as amazing as you had expected and you'll probably be wasting time.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
His point was that he wants you to start syncing YOUR OWN simfiles instead of using someone elses

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
You guys should know that DDReamStudio makes the syncing job much easier, and it's very accurate too. The bad thing about it though is that it sets the bpm for every second of the song and you have to delete all the repeated bpms. I usually just find out the gap and all the bpm changes in DDReamStudio, then I delete the extra bpm changes that are not needed, then create the steps in StepMania.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I've tried using DDReam, but I suck and can't figure it out. I always mess something up, and everything ends up wrong. I'd need like some one-on-one IRL tutoring to figure it out.
Syncing by hand is more hardcore anyway, but I usually get mad and quit halfway... |
