Re: Hardest Boss Battle(s)
nice emulator filter :/
If you want REALLY hard, you could try Score Attack on BlazBlue or Persona 4: Arena. Elisabeth is fun. |

Luther SO3
yeah he's easy if you prepare for him, but preparing is hard and very luck based as well. If you don't, he's hard as balls. |

Re: Hardest Boss Battle(s)
Haha, that was one of the cool things about the pre-Internet era. You had to figure out all this shit on your own, make notes, etc. People would pass rumors around, depending. It was an interesting time to be a gamer. :P

Sky Mundus battle in Devil May Cry.
Shitty 2001 physics. Everyone knows this was the hardest boss in any Sonic game...

Re: Hardest Boss Battle(s)
In my experience, that award goes to Zora from The Jetsons SNES, as once on the final stage, one must beat every boss in the game AGAIN, back-to-back, without dying before facing her. Zora herself is another nightmare ;A;

Re: Hardest Boss Battle(s)
Neo Shinryu from FFV (playing on GBA version), couldn't even get past three attacks (although The Void was still a tough area for my party)

I can't believe I dropped the name Ragu O Ragula in this thread and didn't even get one Amen Brudda.
No one plays Wild Arms. Why does no one play Wild Arms.

Re: Hardest Boss Battle(s)
everyone go get a playstation and get a copy (if you can find one) of Star Ocean: The 2nd Story.
go to the final save point before the final boss. go all the way back out of the giant friggin tower to a city with the bosses daughter and trigger a private action where she breaks the limit on his power. you will NOT beat him unless the characters you use are level 255 (max level). even then it is soooo difficult. (also the first time you reach the final save point you're around level 80-90, imagine the grinding.) oh yeah and if you play on the extremely hard mode the max is 455 lmfao why Last edited by top; 04-6-2013 at 12:10 AM.. |

Re: Hardest Boss Battle(s)
Organization XIII data fights in KH2:FM+ are all hard and fun as hell, but I've yet to beat the Lingering Will... He's just too much haha.
Also, this entire fucking game, mostly because of its poor design lol No checkpoints, no save points. I don't know if the number of starting lives differs from disc to disc, or if there are different versions, but mine started me with 7, expecting me to survive its 30 fuck mothering levels in one play-through. I beat it as a kid, but not without a 99 lives code, or without using level selection codes. I haven't played it in years though, so maybe it won't be so bad now lol. |

Re: Hardest Boss Battle(s)
Oh shiet, The Lost World was just stupid hard >_<
I remember Die Hard Trilogy was also kinda hard.. Haven't played it in ages though. Hardest bossfight for me was probably Penance in FFX.. I didn't have maxed stats and no Break HP-Limit. 'twas a pain in the ass. |

For me, I would pick the final boss from Mushihimesama Futari Black Label on god mode. Just, why.

Re: Hardest Boss Battle(s)
That's not the hardest version of the boss. Look up the Ultra mode one.

Re: Hardest Boss Battle(s)
Lumine, on Hard mode on Megaman X8
Why is Lumine so hard? 1st form: He has all of the abilities of the other bosses. All-in-all though, not too bad. 2nd form: After you beat the 1st form comes a pretty relentless battle. Not only that but once you get Lumine down low enough in life energy he then shields up and you have to quickly break his shields, get a few hits in before he re-shields... and if you don't defeat him in a few seconds, you get an instant game over. No matter how much life/etc... you had. Did I mention there is no timer so you can't really know how much time is left in this sudden death match? |

Re: Hardest Boss Battle(s)
I don't remember Barthandelus being in XIII-2.
There were definitely 3 encounters in XIII, which you might be thinking of. Otherwise you might be mistaking him for Caius. The only Fal'Cie I can remember fighting in the sequel was the Proto Fal'Cie Adam. |
