Re: FFR Scores
Managed this earlier on RATO. I forgot to take a screenshot because I was sure I'd FC it, but I've run into sort of a problem doing it.
Can any of you (specifically Dossar, XUioX, etc.) give any helpful advice on improving vibration speed in only one hand? I can't vibrate nearly as fast with my right hand as I can with my left hand, which was killing me on the big walls because most of them have more notes on the right than left. I switched to mirror, which helped a ton, and I was able to get my rank 29, but I'm still having a ton of trouble with it. I'm looking for something other than "just vibrate a ****load" or "practice practice practice" because I'm doing both of those already. If I'm basically screwed because I'm left-handed then that's fine, but if any folks great at vibrating know how to improve speed in just one hand, let me know.

Keyboard is a big factor. Try to get something as flat as possible.

Re: FFR Scores
im sorry. ever since i became better i have a tendency of getting at least rank 6 on FGOs, FMOs, etc etc.
P.S. the two S.S.H. BFs (Brandish Headless and Momentary Life) are still pissing me off, lol. Ground_Breaker: I can't really explain on how to improve vibrating. Just try songs like I Hate the 80s, because after whoring that song until I FC'd it, not only did I improve my vibrating skills but I became better with my left hand. Play a lot of "jacked-up" songs like bmv and Club. I assume that will help a little. Vibrating just comes naturally. Also, play SM. There's tons of stepfiles that might help you vibrate faster (*ahem* McRolld, One Minutes Edit, Jackhammer Madness etc etc *cough*) Bluearrowll's tip also helps, btw. hehe, I wanted a Logitech UltraX Flat for Christmas, but instead I got a Logitech Classic Keyboard 200

Re: FFR Scores
I have a laptop. Can keyboards get much thinner than that?

Re: FFR Scores
I don't think there are keyboards that are thinner that a laptop's keyboard. However, there is a keyboard called the Logitech Illuminated Keyboard that is only about 9.3 mm thick (it's the thinnest keyboard I've ever laid eyes on).
EDIT: The Logitech diNovo Keyboard is a keyboard that can be used for laptops, but the prices for the keyboards I've mentioned are just shocking. lol I'm a Logitech fan

Re: FFR Scores
Getting there... AAA'd the RAG section so look out. Both goods in the 24ths.
PS nice AAA samurai, and really good BH there balla. EDIT: BF'd Turbulence but everybody seems to be AAA'ing it so I didn't bother with an SS... And like 60-something tier points today alone... Last edited by Cyrenics; 01-11-2009 at 03:55 PM.. |

Re: FFR Scores
This is my first AAA in a week and also the first from when I switched to the letter keys after my numpad broke (I don't count Eye of the Tiger). Pretty lucky AAA - this was about 70% sightread, and I didn't expect the very fast jumpstream in the end...so this is pretty nice. 59th to AAA. I've been in a skill dump for the past few weeks - I can't seem to AAA anything.
~Bynary Fission EDIT: Another cool AAA. EDIT2: A couple months ago I got a good on this 20 notes from the end...on a fluke run. Couldn't come close to that until now, since I no longer get boos in the jump section.
