Not many extras to be honest. A couple of features about creatures of the sea (I think one has the French guy who does all the voice-overs) and sing-along with Spongebob in various languages. Apart from that you're looking at just the episodes.

EDIT: Also, Season 4 comes out on DVD November 3rd here.

Nope, none of that. Maybe Season 4 will be different.

If you like that stuff then get Futurama. I own this:

Every single episode has a commentary. So that's something like 70 commentaries to watch. Not to mention they are actually pretty interesting commentaries. Along with other special features, some makings of, how to draw the characters, deleted scenes, etc.

Only like the last season had commentary on every episode.

Son of a bitch. I don't want to buy that **** again. Put it on a higher medium (i.e., bluray) or I won't even consider it.

That's the problem with buying them individually. You'll probably find that they'll bring out Spongebob Season 1-3 or something and it'll have commentaries and more special features.

Also, ya, Spongebob is awesome. I think the name of the episode is "Jellyfish Jam" but that one is one awesome episode. The one where Spongebob brings home a Jellyfish and they dance all night. The dance scene is like a drug-fuelled psychedelic trip.
