there are no greats in FFR.

but, I schedule these things on Saturdays because most people are freer on the weekend, and I like doing stuff on Saturday vs Sunday. Also, I explained the whole thing about whorli being away and me being bored... this will be my entertainment.

Being blacklisted and recreating an account to regain scores is totally different. After the 24 hours, the players know that their scores will be erased. So it's basically wasting time. As opposed to having a permanent account to regain your scores that you know will stay. Also, some people create alts to try a new style of play. Maybe Hammy did that. It's good that you plan to do this for fun. Just do not consider the winners before the competition has started.

I will try to win, but I will probably fail on the easy songs, I.e. 1 good = 3000 rank. xD

it is saturday to saturday. 12:01am to 11:59pm.

and, i'm starting to doubt my 150 winning rank. i think it'll be higher. then again, i didn't think anyone would get 1 billion last competition. so, i have a feeling i underestimate you guys. which is why i said 150 initially... i took what i thought (200), and then made it more aggressive.

I Agree, unfair Competition..
Even with the way I Whore I know I couldn't win this and I can drop my rank to 1.5k in a day for sure..

GTS/50,000 is the amount of credits one should have. Then you would subtract the cost of each purchased song they purchased. If their credit count goes in the negatives, something is wrong.

Theoretically, you could gamble up to ~130k credits and get every purchased/secret song, and AAA them all in 1 try in 24 hours (Total length of all public songs is 22:52:37 right now, but I'd add 10-12 mins for the next round's songs in the official tournament). However, actually doing so would require both insane gambling luck and skill more godly than anyone on FFR currently has.

It's still an interesting bit of trivia though.

I probably would do this...Alas, August 2nd is actually one of the worst days this could be held on for me. I'm not even sure if I will be playing even one game of FFR on that day. Oh well...Don't need vrofl...Don't need credits...Don't need my subscription extended.

Also, with that alt...I AAA'd 131 songs difficulty 1-7 with avgmisses before I stopped. I don't really want to bother explaining in details why, but I was basically trying to show people that they needed a stronger basis when making bs calls. (I would refresh at times so my game play count was low/very close to my AAA count and, of course, my join date was fresh. It was pretty amusing to watch people go out of the way and call me bs on my comment wall. =P) I didn't try out a new style of play or anything...Just played songs over again with my normal style.

That would definitely be insane. Also, I highly doubt anybody will play every single song.

Ya, keep going guys, that's the way to be appreciative of free prizes.

You know what, if you are complaining that "only the good will win" then how about you get better and win in the future, or get better for future contests.

Also, I'd be totally in this if not for the fact that Tass wouldn't be a fun puppet master. Though I'm sure the rest of you guys are entertaining him to no end.

Well, that and the whole skill thing I'd be currently lacking.

Why? Surely everyone will have a MUCH higher starting rank on the non-public songs, so what you really want to be doing is getting 200k to 1 on the ancient files, no?

I'd love to do this, if it were not on a Saturday, I'm always too freaking busy on Saturdays -.- might have a shot at it though.

Also, I'm assuming the in-game prizes (vROFL, credits etc) are going on our main accounts, right?

Of course that's the best way to start off. I'm just saying that it's technically possible to get a new account to average rank 1 in 24 hours, even if in practice it'll never happen.
