Just because you don't have to work for your education doesn't mean that other people don't.

Anyway, what I've learned to do is be less irate when there's reasoning behind certain actions. This is primarily what gets me through school -- the understanding that applying myself now will lead to a much easier life in the future.

Yesterday was the last real day of school for me, and finals were suppose to start yesterday. Unfortunately, due to the damn snow, we get pushed up a day, and now, today was the first day of finals instead of yesterday and then they continue on tomorrow and Monday.

I've got tomorrow left, then Mon/Tues/Wed for my six exams. My cousins got out two days ago. I usually get out June 8th but we started after Labor Day weekend this year so meh. =/

They're few and far inbetween, but they happen, more in Florida than here. We usually get freeze-overs as opposed to snow days.

The kind of snow we just ignore as being nice mild weather up here would shut down your whole city and cause dozens of accidents.

On my snow days, the roads freeze over before the snow actually comes.

I was trying to say that snow doesn't make us close up all day, but rather the frozen roads.
