I have decided to never argue with anyone who calls Rubix BS again. This proves legitimacy and the argument no longer needs to be made.

Re: MrRubix proving his legitamacy
Well this video looks like bs to me. You dont just quad A 32nd rolls and get a miss. To me this almost proves your bs/
seriously though, whats the point in faking scores when its a game for fun. Last edited by Izzy; 04-6-2008 at 03:45 AM.. |

Re: MrRubix proving his legitamacy
It was a keyboard-miss. It happens when you spend hours pounding away at poor, defenseless laptop keys. They eventually start to wear out and become unreliable sometimes.
EDIT: You're really quite thick, aren't you? It's not a faked score. I *do* play the game for fun. That's why I didn't start playing competitively until like 1 or 2 years ago even though I've been playing rhythm games for nearly 10 now, lol. EDIT again: I actually just remembered, check out some of ieat's videos. His old laptop had the same problem. It happens. I prefer USB keyboard, personally. More reliable. Re: MrRubix proving his legitamacy
I won't comment on Rubix' legitimacy, but I know sometimes I'll hit one of my (worn-out) keys a little too softly or something and just get random misses in the middle of otherwise good PA.

Re: MrRubix proving his legitamacy
It's hard to defy the legitimacy of that video. It looks clean to me.
Like Tass said though, until you play in front of people, there will always be a shade of doubt and skepticism. |

Re: MrRubix proving his legitamacy
Seriously, I don't even know why people started calling BS in the first place. I've shown timestamps, I've shown hands, I've shown taps, I've shown clear rooms, I've restarted the computer, I've shown processes, I've shown judge, I've shown .ini, I've shown clocks, I've shown crazy-hard songs like vROFL, I've shown consistency via FFR replays, I've made helpful tutorials that others have gained benefit from, I've shown videos including ODI's own Anti-Cheat program (including their crazy encrypted stuff for the score.ini file, which I have no idea how it works, but I'm sure it helps somehow)...
In other words, give it a fscking rest already, to those who still call BS. If you can't take in all the proof I've given you as more than sufficient evidence, then you're probably just too stupid and not worth my efforts. |

Re: MrRubix proving his legitamacy
Its a bad attempt to just call me stupid because i don't believe you. Someone said you posted a AAAA on toml. Imo your stupid for even thinking about posting such a fake score.
Why don't you go do something that isn't a AAAA. Or maybe you should just post a AAAA on death moon edit to. Even people like nima who have long been proven legitimate with insane scores was eventually found out to be bs. You are just going to keep pushing your luck. |

Re: MrRubix proving his legitamacy
It's not a bad attempt because you're simply incorrect. This isn't really a "matter of opinion" -- you're just incorrect. Therefore I am calling you stupid.
Anyways I'm not gonna push the point any further and cause a needless flame-war. That's not the last video I plan on releasing. I've gone above and beyond in terms of providing evidence, so you can either choose to believe it or not -- I don't really care at this point. There really isn't a whole lot more I can provide, but I'm pretty sure guys like Nima never shot vids of insane scores with all the equivalent proof I've shown. If you want to be a douche and still call BS, then go ahead. I'm not playing Stepmania to compete with you. It's something I do for fun and I'm good at it, and I'd ideally like to be part of a community where I don't have to deal with BS calls in 90% of the conversations I engage in. It's a hobby and I enjoy talking about hobbies with others, that's about it. Last edited by QuadDamage; 04-6-2008 at 04:37 AM.. |

Re: MrRubix proving his legitamacy
You can play innocent all you want. Good luck at pretending to be the best player in the world. It's all been done before.

Re: MrRubix proving his legitamacy
I never said I was the best, nor do I pretend to be the best. There are many SM players better than me. I am merely saying that I'm not faking any of my scores and I'd appreciate it if people would back off and look at the evidence for what it is.

Re: MrRubix proving his legitamacy
Obviously BS, any good player can figure that out. Good job on trying to fake scores, no really, we enjoy it.
PS: Any attempt to call me stupid just proves even more that your bs. |

Re: MrRubix proving his legitamacy
Actually, if replays didn't auto-delete, I could show you sometimes where I will be playing and Miss, and no Boo will even happen, even though I pressed the key. Keyboards do sometimes error, maybe some people have better keyboards, but mine isn't so good.
Also, I'm taking it QuadDamage is MrRubix? The actual MrRubix profile is closed, but he seems to talk in his place. Well, if you are MrRubix, good job again, I could never do that. |
