Re: TWG XCII: Welcome Back, Wolfy!
Hey, just wanted to say to the seer that you should build your underground alliance. Each green result is 100%.
Personally I would go to each pick and bounce ideas off them. You could even let each of them know who the other picks are and set up a pretty good mason team that grows every day. But keep in mind that this would be an UNDERGROUND alliance, you don't have the safety of a guardian this game to make your name public. Course if you find a wolf, you have options: 1) give the wolf name to a seered green and have him reveal the name to the thread for a kill, thus most likely killing that green player. 2) try to use your alliance members to sway the lynch and keep yourselves in the dark. (Though this does have risks, you can't give off the impression that that is what is happening or you risk compromising 1 or 2 alliance members) 3) do nothing and just hope for the best...... I suggest not doing this personally but even if you do decide to sit on it for awhile, you should do something by day 5 because that's the default auto win day for the wolves. (meaning if a wolf has not been lynched by then, it's game over.) Also, I doubt the psychic and seer will get a chance to hook up unless the seer seers him. If that's the case, you should be able to plan out the whole game behind the scenes using your team and the psychic. This whole plan is probably on the minds of most of the players here, but I'm just covering the bases. In short: seer forms a hidden alliance, does not go public, and uses discretion when trying to lynch a confirmed wolf. |

Re: TWG XCII: Welcome Back, Wolfy!
EDIT: sorry, day4 is the cut off day, not day5. On day5, there will be 6 players, which I'm pretty sure is a win for the wolves. Not sure how you guys rule a game when the wolves = humans during the day but it's usually a wolf win when that's the case.

Re: TWG XCII: Welcome Back, Wolfy!
We shouldn't be looking especially far into this.
It takes three wolves being inactive for the no-kill to be caused by exclusively inactivity. We can assume that didn't happen. What probably happened is that at least one wolf was inactive, and at least one wolf (probably a new player) expected someone else to send the wolfing pm because they he/she was too scared to do it themselves. Just a theory. I'd be looking at new players. |

But the only ones that would qualify as 'new players' are panda and freeze, both of which have shown they know what they're doing.

Re: TWG XCII: Welcome Back, Wolfy!
More or less, I'm willing to bank there is at least one wolf in that list I posted.
Also, I'm slightly leaning towards agree with Iggy's plan. (And Iggy, it'd be Day 5 kitb if it went that far. Wolves have to be above half in order for it to be an auto-win. But assuming we at least shy away from those seered green (even if we don't know who they are), we'd have a pretty decent pool of suspects by, say... Day 3? Then again, that's also depending on whether or not the confirmed ones end up wolved.) Bah, I'll write this out. Time for notepad. |

Re: TWG XCII: Welcome Back, Wolfy!
I don't know dude.
An experienced and active player would never allow that to happen. All the wolves were probably just expecting someone else to do it, so nobody did it. That really doesn't sound like someone who knows what they're doing. We should make a list of people who haven't been on ffr in a few days, not necessarily aim. They only know they're wolves if they get on ffr and see their role pm. |

So the people who have no posts before Night 1 ended?
Freeze, u84, tupa, AC, and Iggy. Unless I missed one. Still looking over Iggy's plan up to day 3. There's a crapload of hypothetical branches it can take. xP |

Re: TWG XCII: Welcome Back, Wolfy!
I did view the thread when the most recent post was panda's "kill ruritsu" joke, but yeah, I never got on aim or posted.
If you want to look at my post history, you can see that I WAS on ffr though. That's what's important. I even have pop-ups that tell me when I have pm's. Whether you choose to believe me or not, I wasn't inactive. |

Re: TWG XCII: Welcome Back, Wolfy!
Just from that list, I'd probably be most inclined to vote either Freeze or Iggy.
Freeze since I'm pretty sure his attention has been caught by the Ya TWG (as he was in it before being killed, I believe), and he mostly hasn't been around at all. Iggy because he nearly always makes a post during the first night to show some kind of activity/thought. A list is a list, don't throw the shields up yet. =P |

Wait, Iggy because he always posts?
So you're inclined to vote for him because he's doing EXACTLY what he always does? ?_? |

He always posts, yet he didn't post at all night one. =P
P.S. I still refuse to vote for anyone until they at least show up and defend themselves. Plus, we've got twenty four hours to bang this out. |

Re: TWG XCII: Welcome Back, Wolfy!
I can't stand this type of attitude. You cant tell people to be active if you yourself aren't doing anything to contribute. If you're talking to people behind the scenes, ok but seriously don't rely on others to do your work for you, go do something for yourself.
Anyways, I really like freeze as my top pick. He fits the bill of an inactive wolf that either forgot to send in a kill or just never got a chance to. Plus I have yet to see him on AIM and he has not posted yet. I have my doubts that all three wolves far into the "inactive" column. There would have to be one wolf that's active but probably just not experienced enough to think to send in the kill choice. Day ends tomorrow night, still time to talk but I really think the alliance idea is going to drive this game more than anything else. Which would be ok assuming the seer is good enough to run the show. |
