Re: What do you want for yourself in the future?
Similarly, I would personally like to live alone near a sound (still body of water) in a house as distanced from everyone as possible. I'd like to own a vehicle that can go out on the water so I can take it out whenever I choose, and I'd like to make money right from my home (writing or something).

I'd be 26, so I dunno. Coming from blue being 26 right now, I'm thinking I'll like Cocks, Rocks, and Discos.
Or at least be fresh out of a four year college. |

Re: What do you want for yourself in the future?
Let's see, in 10 years I'll be 24...
Well my dream profession would be to become an illustrator or a graphic designer seeing how I have developed a love for art during the past two years. I will probably end up becoming an architect seeing how it is a more practical job. In terms of everything else I definitely want to get married, not that many kids though, most likely two at the max. Not sure where I would live though, Italy would be quite the experience but I doubt it will happen. I'll probably just travel there a lot with my family. Hopefully get my kids interested in art and culture. Oh and Bolth, that's pretty amazing how you're one of the top 10 tennis players for your division in Australia.

Re: What do you want for yourself in the future?
When I'm 24, I'll most likely be famous for my musical composition, my sophisticated and hilarious sense of humor, and my insane music-rhythm game skills. My wife would be someone from my high school (I like these two girls and they both seem perfect for me since they're in my magnet program). I would like 3 children (I prefer 2 boys and 1 girl, or at least 1 boy) and I would take them out to the zoo, neighborhood park, fancy restaurant (not McDonalds or Wendys or KFC or Burger King), and I would definitely be a super awesome dad when I'm being presented in front of their classmates in school.

Re: What do you want for yourself in the future?
Well, I'll probably be working for my own company if not for a small business owned by good friends. I'll be working on penetration and vulnerability testing and probably a little IT work. Hopefully I'll have a CCSP by then and at least my CCNA if not my CCNP too (ps i hate cisco by the way). I will probably be going for my masters if I haven't completed it by then.
I do not care where I live, I can accommodate myself almost anywhere, so this would be decided where my job is located. A big city, like Chicago would be nice, but I would not mind the suburbs or somewhere crazy. Depending on how my love life is by then, I would either be living with my then family or by myself. As much as I would like a family, I would rather get my feet on the ground with my business than have trouble with that later. Either way, I would have a dog, either a husky or a lab. Blah blah blah blah, I decided to do this instead of working on setting up a VPN. |

Re: What do you want for yourself in the future?
ill be 24 so most likely either finishing college or maybe ill be a carpenter and id like to have a wife and 1 kid that i pour all my attention into until shes a teenager when she rebels and runs away with a big black guy with a tattoo of a monkey doing a rhino on his face and i never see her again so then my wife divorces me and i have to move out so i move into my friend eric's house for a few months until i get back on my feet but that eventually turns into 2 years when he kicks me out for being a lazy bum so then i live on the streets and eat out of garbage cans until one day i find a lotto ticket on the ground and i turn it in for 59 million dollars so then i buy a nice house, nice car, and tons of strippers which we'll have sexy parties every night for the rest of my life which is only for about 5 weeks because i die from an unknown cause

In 10 years, I'll be in my late 20s... Hm. I want to be a professional and world-known illustrator by then. Something like that and married with kids. Either that or I'll be dead because of some freak accident. ^_^

Hopefully, I'll be teaching High School Band and will be going on to get my master's degree by then. Either that, or I would go back to school for a master's degree in musicology or conducting or ethnomusicology.

27...Hm.
Maybe marry by then. No kids, though, 'cos he'd just blend them. A job involving music composition, somehow. Or maybe a writer. I dunno.

Re: What do you want for yourself in the future?
Mm, in 10 years we might be out of recession, so I could have a job working in some store stacking some shelves. I'll be out of university by then, so I might actually get to work as a cashier.
But then again, the university I'm going to has a job placement scheme so I might get to make video game music after all, whoop de doo. Back to reality. I'll probably work in a video game store, with my BAHons in video and computer games, telling some prick that Tetris is a classic game and should be cherished, and he can take his Final Fantasy MLXV and perish forever more. No kids, no love life. My own flat stacked floor to ceiling with video and computer games. Sounds good to me. |

Re: What do you want for yourself in the future?
Being a cashier isn't for you if you're not good with people/like making small talk. It really depends on where you work. My friend was the manager of Gamestop, and absolutely loved gaming, but had to stop working there because the stress was killing him (70-80 hours a week).
For myself, I would like to get a job that I enjoy. Whether I make a lot of money or not is no longer important to me |
