I'm sure it wouldn't be tough for them to degenerate it into something like Weekend Update + Shorts. That would be successful on its own, I'd say.

That's true... I'm sure if they condensed it down, kept a few skits but stuck with only the best (not all this time-filler crap they do now), took out the ridiculous amounts of commercials, and made it an hour-long show they would get better ratings.

I'm not really going to miss it. Frank Caliendo started out saving the show, but then when everyone found out he was WAYYY too good for that show, and he got his own thing, it started to suck again. When there was nothing better to watch, MADtv would do just good enough for background noise.

I watch Whose Line re-runs all the time.

I didn't like most of the show but every so often something would come on that would make me laugh uncontrollably and feel the need to tell everybody about it like a douchbag. I haven't really just sat down and watched TV in like a year though so can't really say this effects me

MADtv was one of my favorite shows when I was growing up. About 10 years ago I thought it was the funniest thing in the world. Now I'm not sure if it was ever funny, or if I just didn't know any better.

I generally steer clear of any shows my mom likes. Such as MadTV. Although I did watch one episode recently and found myself unable to even smile, they try too hard.

But as previously stated in here, Who's Line is it Anyway? is GOD
