Re: FFR Mapus
Well I live close to another FFR user, and I am thinking that my marker is directly under his which is why it won't show my marker. So that's the only problem I can find.

Re: FFR Mapus
I wanna meet someone who has a good reputation on FFR, or is known for something.
Community-wise, and i never said I was scared, but for the fact that 13 yr old kids have to get permission from their parents to come here, and a parent would flip out if they seen you can view people locations. ( I think)

Re: FFR Mapus
I understand how to use it, but I think that if you live in the same city and have close to the same IP, that it will just register both users as one IP. Thus whoever clicked the link last will have their name show instead of anyone else.

Re: FFR Mapus
Show me a screenshot and I might be able to help you. Right now, I'm almost sure that you can't see it because of your browser or because you have a proxy activated.

Re: FFR Mapus
Do you guys subscribe to the same internet company and are in the same area? If so then that is why. Like I said earlier, it doesn't track you. It tracks your internet company.

Re: FFR Mapus
I'm all in for the Opt out option. Not saying I'm gonna stop using it but it would help make room for the people who are really interested, if you get what I'm saying.
In case you didn't, it seems like the more people that use it, the slower it loads. Last edited by Sullyman2007; 07-17-2008 at 11:23 PM.. |

Re: FFR Mapus
If this uses flash, then maybe download the latest flash upgrade? I have absolutely no idea what it uses... so yeah..
Sully makes a good point.

Re: FFR Mapus
hoochan... *facepalm*
ok, yes if two people are in the same area and have the same IP the markers will overlap. Nothing we can do about that. Second, no one can find your house and stalk you. Third, users under thirteen have to get permission. Fourth, pages should load correctly now. Fifth, if tiles on the map do not load, stop downloading music/movies. |

Re: FFR Mapus
I tried IE 6, Firefox 3 and Firefox 3.01. I can use Google Earth, Map, Mapquest just fine. It doesn't give an error message. It simply loads a white screen. I notice the word ''Terminé'' at the bottom, that means ''Finished'' or ''done'', meaning that it did load something. This was with Firefox. With IE 6, I get an error though. It says that the page is presently not available and may have certain difficulties. It suggests maybe to modify something in my browser.
I have always laid permissions sufficient to have access to any general public sites that offer something. Even a few buggy sites that I wouldn't want their stuff sometimes creep up on me. Thus, I guess it's probably a server overload of people or something. I'll try again tomorrow and see how things go. EDIT: I am not downloading anything at the moment. |
