I notice a lot of things wrong with my files but only after I wait a month and come back to them

and I don't want to wait a month before releasing everything because that would be :/

It's like when you submit a file to the simfile database. You look over it again and again and finally convince yourself that everything's fine. Then a week later you find an error =P.

i could find countless mistakes in files from popular packs but that doesnt take the replay value out of them does it? some mistakes are on purpose for layering reasons or because the artist had something in mind. this doesnt mean every file has to be 100% accurate to be elitist or part of the next dark chancellor fiasco pack.

iirc stepmania adds a bit of silence before the song starts or something which causes ur sm gap to be different from your ddream gap

and i was pretty sure the sync on LWix was right on (within 5ms) and if its not probably blame rebirth because he ****ed with the sync on all the DCP files before releasing m.m

the ending jumps are off as well and so is the ending runningmen to a lesser extent (it gets progressively worse...think about it is there any reason why those last three notes should be off from the rest of the file?) and kommi/jx confirmed it :<

its just not very noticeable until those ending jumps and kommi already said he's fixed that so its not a big deal~

Just a rough estimate, on the assumption that the song has constant BPM (practically not wrong I guess), checked the offset of beginning/middle/end with tiny BPM adjustments.

Well sometimes two instruments don't layer cuz the gap's SLIGHTLY different even though together they'd produce better steps. A compromise in cases like that is necessary =P.

It was as close as possible without any tempo changes and/or colored notes. But yeah somebody else may have ****ed it up ^_^.

*edit* Oh and I found some bastardized patterns in my LWV file that I fixed. I also made an easier chart for those insane bursts. I think now it has the perfect balance of arbitrary placement while not compromising technical aspects too much.

Oh and here's a vid of the edit chart (read the vid description):

It goes like this x/x/x/14/15/16

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-SAp...e=channel_page

*edit* lol I guess I'm just a little too late . My one file that wasn't understepped .

Hey guys if you'd like I could help with the graphics. How about giving me a try and if you don't like 'em just reject it? Which songs do you need 'em for?

i'd rather see some examples of your graphic work before sending you a beta and everything
also while ah shwe bah is certainly your best file, it still is just out of range of the 20 in the pack all ready, much the fault of stepping a mediocre song that has already been stepped pretty darn well -twice-
