No, TDK is a separate guy.

Also, screw the idea of batches, just judge stuff as they come along. I'll make like RF and put a * next to everything that's been fully judged.

Yeah... I was talking to The Dragon Knight... I still need the name of that song he submited...

and in that case, I'll just submit my ratings...

Code:
Incorporation-dore
	**1/2
Still feels like a lot of mashing, and the 48 86 pattern on the eighths still is rather annoying without the hand, but it seems a bit better...

Half symphony-moches
	**
Holds in the 24th section were very unnecessary, added extra beat to the end of every other measure in the beginning. 5th measure deviation from the standard is 2 notes, not 4... Wierd placement of holds. Repetitive due to overly following PR.

???-The Dragon Knight
	**
Bad layering--chose the wrong one... Note placement didn't change at all throughout the song... Notes are offsync before music.

Operation Evolution-Coolboyrulez
	**1/2
Offsync--arrows WAY before music... At around 430, make the notes hold notes. Steps were decent... Maybe a bit better double placement?
Also, I think we need to put a requirement on having graphics before you submit... Because I think half of our accepted files are graphic-less... and 2/3 of all submissions are without them...

Oh, I'll submit my song in just a sec... No graphics, but I'll get them soon.

Resubmitted Half Symphony, it's better now.

Reviews:
Incorporation- *** A little better.

that Venetian Snares song- ** Generally okay, but the beginning was repetitive and not all that fun, so was the ending. Cut the beginning.

Operation Evolution- ** Some sounds could have been stepped more, and some parts are generally inconsistent. I guess it's decent, though.

Added holds where they're supposed to be and added a few triplets where they're supposed to be. If I find other stuff to fix I'll do it and then re-send.

To be honest, I'm not looking forward to this at all. I listened to the first minute of the song, began stepping it, and I couldn't find any way to make it fun without making it dumpy easy. In addition, later parts in the song would have caused it to make a pretty bad stepchart. If it is, good, though, I will commend you on it.

On other notes, I'm going to be back in a bit and pick up on my judging.

Tested new stuff. Doing it on a scale of 5 like kommi, with 4 or above being accepted. 4 is too low to give a real rating on.

All of the World (moches)

2/5

Both charts: I don't think the holds in the beginning are necessary. Holds were wrong at many points and utilized incorrectly.

Heavy chart: Some PR is bad and some jump choice affects the PR too. I didn't get a lot of the layering in this. Some parts felt understepped and strange. Holds were odd, and some parts were really annoying.

Oni chart: Wow this was really annoying to play. Quads/hands were weird.

Incorporation (dore)

4/5

Good, except I think that the minor quads you had should have stayed lol

Half Symphony (moches)

2/5

I seriously did not understand the hand usage in this thing at all. The song is boring, and the file is pretty boring too. Some of the holds are weird. And yeah, I'm going to have to say it, fix the PR. The beginning felt a little too left-hand intensive for me. I know what you said about the snares, but I still think they should be stepped and you could find a way to work around the overstepping.

Öngyilkos Vasárnap (DragonKnight)

2/5

Bored me to death. Exited out. It's not terrible though, just repetitive. You could have done it differently, and I think you could easily make the file by incorporating the stringed instruments and possibly the vocals. I don't like the song, really.

Operation Evolution (Coolboyrulez)

1.5/5

Wow, dude, the PR on this thing is absolutely horrendous. It bugs me a LOT. Layering is pretty bad and could be improved, IMO. Holds exist for a reason, too. The ones you did use were pretty bad. There were plenty of opportunities for jacks. Technical accuracy is off on quite a few places. Some patterns are annoying. I exited out at like the 3 minute mark because it made me seriously start to fall asleep. Offset is off by around 40 ms for me. Step the beginning, why didn't you? 24ths are VERY wrong. Try stepping some of the slide tool that was utilized.

Mavulosa (Nightfirecat)

2/5

This wasn't that great, lol. You missed a lot of opportunities to make this file way cooler. The song is pretty good. Some parts were kind of annoying to play. PR is off on a few parts. Check technical accuracy on some spots if there are any and if they do exist, it's very minor. I'm forgetting something, but hopefully it's nothing too important...

Nothing's that great. Do you guys want me to send in my Megane De Ne! to this thing instead of RF? -_-

Anything more specific? I made PR off to keep it from being EXTREMELY repetitive. And what were the parts that I could've made cooler/less annoying to play?

Well, I'm rating out of 5 now because it makes more sense.

I mean, you could have switched up the PR patterns, but I'm mainly talking about interval differences and jumps that play into the feeling of it. In general, you could have layered a lot more sounds (percussion, etc). Also, some of the fast junk could have been thrown in for 8) as well

For half symphony v2

Half symphony-moches
**
Holds in the 24th section were still there. The extra beat at the end of every other measure in the beginning was still there. And I checked at least 10-20 times, it's 3 notes, not 4 at the beginning in measure 5. Still a tiny bit repetitive, but better. And at the beginning, the holds should be on the flute, not the percussion notes.

Basically, you didn't change anything that I found wrong with it >.>

And I'll work on mavulosa a bit.

EDIT:

Where specifically? That's what I'm looking for... The rest, I understand.

EDIT2: Got it basically cleared up...

The "extra note" actually goes to the suspended cymbal. Listen carefully.

As for the holds, fixed.

Also, the holds do go to the flute. The 4-2-4 thing went to a 8th-16th triplet note, if that's what you're talking about.

I hate to bitch, but could you explain the problems with the file, because I honestly have no idea what to fix.

Those were the problems.. I basically put them right out there...

And honestly, I don't see a lot of point putting notes to sounds that can barely be heard... I only barely noticed the suspended cymbal... It's not really a major thing in it..

Oh, hell yeah! I'd love to collab with you.

@Nightfire: I did the cymbal because there's a point in every other measure where it's the only instrument, and without it that part would feel empty.

Geno's Forest F-Zero (intensez)

1.5/5

technical errors. inconsistency. edit chart is kind of dumpy and badly layered. exited out on every chart because it eventually got pointlessly boring or dumb
at least it was better than CBR's

*edit*

forgot to mention i hate that song so much

also I'm stepping some song in a fashion that's outside of my stepping style; kind of an experiment. if anyone's willing to test the first minute (just a general test) or so hit me up on AIM.
