Man, I've been gone longer than I thought.

Also, has anyone commented on how Nintendo has registered the following domains? ShallWii.com WiiActive24.com WiiAlive24.com WiiAnimation.com Wiiareone.com WiiBeauty.com WiiBoys.com WiiBreeding.com WiiChallenger.com WiiChannel.com WiiCooking.com Wiiconnect24.com WiiCountry.com WiiCreator.com WiiEarth.com WiiExecutive.com WiiFamily.com WiiFitness.com WiiFun.com WiiGeneration.com WiiGetTogether.com WiiGirls.com WiiHistory.com WiiJourney.com WiiKaraoke.com WiiLanguages.com WiiLife.com WiiLove.com WiiMagazine.com WiiManagement.com WiiMoney.com WiiMusic.com WiiNews.com WiiParents.com WiiPower.com WiiPuzzle.com WiiPuzzle.com WiiScenario.com WiiSchool.com WiiScience.com WiiScience.com WiiSports.com WiiStory.com WiiStudent.com WiiVC.com WiiVenture.com WiiWorld.com And I believe there are a few more, as well. I realize domains are cheap, and this could just be Nintendo not wanting anyone else to register them...But obviously this is a sign of something to come. Also, am I the only one who was excited about the controller having a speaker? Very cool. Especially combined with WiiConnect24. It could essentially be used for VoIP (assuming the rumors of an included mic are true)...I think calling a friends Wii (or even just buzzing them or something) is pretty cool. Not to mention hearing a fishing rod unwind while casting in LoZ:TP. Oh, and I tried to contribute Squeek. But I just gotta point out to dummyman that what he was saying was not opinion. But I'll leave it at that.

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
I just looked at photos of the Wii gameplay and sad to say I was dissapointed. I severely hope that either my eyes are playing tricks on me or something is wrong with the photograph because when I compared the graphics to the XBOX (the first one) they looked the same. Can anyone dissaprove this??

OH YES BECAUSE NOBODY HAS EVER NOTICED THAT ONE BEFORE YOU ARE THE FIRST PERSON TO NOTICE WHAT NINTENDO ALREADY SAID.
CONGRATULATIONS. Graphics absolutely do not matter. ~Squeek |

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
Graphics only suck when the game is TRYING to have good graphics and fails miserably. Like, I could say Picasso's painting have horrible graphics, but that's not really cool. But what would have horrible graphics is someone who took a picasso painting and went into Photoshop and put a random lens flare on it.

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
If you're going to pick a console because of its graphical capabilities... that's sad, especially when you consider that the Wii would still have much more to it even with the best graphics. I honestly don't care who plays the system as long as Nintendo still stays in business.
It's also sad that people think the more expensive systems are better because they're more expensive. Yeah, a few of my classmates actually think that. I could probably sell them a regular pencil for $5 and say that it's better than other pencils because it's more expensive. But they're anti-Nintendo fanboys so I just laugh at them. The Wii's graphics are better than the Gamecube's. The Gamecube's graphics were really good. Graphics are starting to come to the point where they're going to get as good as they're going to get, just give it a few generations. People will be like "rofl wow this is a lot like the graphics from the PS3".

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
I don't know if this was brought up here or somewhere else, but it's worth mentioning.
"The Wii's graphics look like a souped-up XBox." Umm... yeah, you're right. But guess what? The same is true of the 360.

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
Honestly, Gamecube is already better graphics than I even care to have.
Personally, I like the N64 graphics for Super Smash Bros. Triangular baseball bat for the win.

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
Then let them do their own thing and spend $600 on a piece of garbage console that won't get third party support because of how much the devkit costs. If no amount of convincing will work, then there's no point in trying.
These are the people who continually buy the new Madden games every year. Just let them waste their money and we'll do our own thing. ~Squeek |

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
yes sir.
By the way, on your quote you should put Colin Mochrie as the person who said it. I love that show by the way. Do they still make episodes? |

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
I felt the need to refrain from naming the source for my own reasons. They are airing Season 8 currently. To the best of my knowledge, it is still in production. I don't know. Nobody has any information on it.
In other news, I have now made THREE Wiimotes while working 25 hours over the weekend. I'll get pictures up soon. ~Squeek |

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
It's a Nintendo product.
Odds are good that you could drop this thing off a bridge and it'd be OK either landing on rocks or in the lake under it. I mean, practically every other Nintendo product to date has been able to survive washing machines, drops, and other such mayhems that would cause another system to be utterly destroyed. ~Squeek |
