Holy penalties.. a few weak ones too. Last last call on Bieksa? Ugh. I've seen that not get called too many times.
Either way. Canucks start a third period comeback, but penalty trouble ends up being their downfall and the Sharks FINALLY win a game in the Conference Finals. We're going back to Van City after the nooner on Sunday.

And Tampa Bay pulls out from a 3-0 deficit and ends up turning it around into a 5-3 victory. Game 6 is a guarantee and it's a brand new series.

just a little stat, that was the first Conference final win for San Jose in 9 playoff games (losing game 6 and 7 in '04, sweep in '10, losing game 1 and 2 in '11).

Definitely. I'm a weak sauce drinker. Sharks need to play 60 minutes of D against these guys. If they're going to block shots, block it. Don't tip it. And no more dumb penalties. I'm thinking of the Desjardins penalty after he came out of the penalty box and immediately tripped Kesler.

And that, gents, is what happens when you get karma on your tail. 5 straight penalties killed by Vancouver, and then an endless stream leads to 3 5-on-3 goals in 1:55 (a new record) and a 4-2 victory. We're going back to the Phone Booth (or the Roj. Take your pick) for a 5th, and possibly deciding, game.
Also, Sharks fans, I know you'll hate it, but you have to give Henrik Sedin props for totally playing Logan Couture on that Too Many Men call.

Got to give credit to the Canucks for killing the early powerplays. I didn't get to watch it, so I had my friend update me. I got one text saying that the Canucks scored. Three minutes later I got another text, "2-0." One minute later, "3-0." I threw my phone to the back of my car, regained my composure, and was glad I didn't get into a car accident.

Great game Canucks fans. I hope this series goes farther than game 5.

I was building a bedroom with my brother and a couple other people while the game was on but the 17 text message I got throughout the game by different people gave me an idea of how it was going. I have yet to see any highlights but 3 5 on 3 goals? Sharks deserved the loss.

Oh yeah, after 12 hours of assembling furniture, i'm tired. sleep bye
