Re: The Wii is Here.
Oh and I need to ask everyone something. They say that the Photo Channel can display movies right? Well how in the world do you get that feature to work? The sad fact about this is that I called Nintendo and the Customer Service Rep. didn't even know how to do it either, I mean what's up with that?!

Use this program to convert your videos. Put it on an SD card, and bingo, movies on the Wii. It works perfectly; I used it to get the Raving Rabbids videos on my Wii.

Nice, when you have the ability, post your Wii Number on here and also, try to get Super Smash Brothers Brawl when it hits stores Feb 10th.

Re: The Wii is Here.
Just got home from visiting my family.
Umbrella Chronicles was in the mail. My family failed to make big on the Zapper deal and instead got me something completely meaningless so now I have to go buy one myself. Why do I have to get one despite the fact that the game works fine without it? Because it's just not as fun without it. Also because I pre-ordered House of the Dead 2&3 Remake for $30. Also because it's only $20 and comes with a game so why not. |

Re: The Wii is Here.
I got a Wii zapper and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games for christmas, plus another set of controllers (Which is good because I only had one.) The Wii Zapper is wonderful for a simple plastic casing. The demo game it comes with (Link's Crossbow Training) is incredibly addicting itself. It comes with enough levels that you're bound to have a few all-time favorites, and even two bosses. Basically, it's about keeping your combo. You have unlimited ammo, but shooting wildly even while hitting EVERY target will get you very little points. I'm looking forward to RE: UC.
Mario & Sonic is better than I expected. It has a bunch of diverse minigames, but my favorites are the dream games. Dream games are the "Mario" sport types, such as a Mario Kart style running race and table tennis with scoring based on how long the rallies go on for and special power swings. The normal games are fun too, but I wish some of them were a bit more "realistic". Mainly when your doing the Javelin Tossing. You have to flick the remote upward instead of making a throwing motion, and I would think a throwing motion would have been a lot more interesting for a throwing game, but oh well. There aren't too many over-simplified things like that. In my opinion, it's a game you should get if you know you're going to have more than one person playing with you, cause frankly it's a blast shaking your controllers like a mad-man trying to beat the person to the right of you who looks like an idiot shaking their controllers like a mad-man. |

Re: The Wii is Here.
Mario and Sonic at the Olympics was simply to sorry of a game for me. I think of it as a sporty version of Mario Party. The Wii Zapper is a nice accessory but Link's Crossbow Training bored me too quickly so I had to get Medal of Honor Heroes 2 and Resident Evil just to have a lot more fun. I really can't wait for Mariokart Wii to come out though, that should be awesome. The only thing that I don't want to see be made for this system is an action replay because too many people are using that as a simple way to win (mainly on DS) and it sure makes having fun on Wi-fi a whole hell of a lot harder to at least play without someone being a noob and kicking your ass around.

Re: The Wii is Here.
Last month, I played a snowboarding game and Wii Play that my friends have. The mini games are all, so, unsophisticated compared to the Twilight Princess mini-game equivalents released a good six months before the snowboarding and Wii Play ones.
Also, why would you get Crossbow Training? It sounds boring to me. Just get Twilight Princess and run around shooting things with your bow, it's equally as fun. Also, you get way more mini games, but those will bore you out soon enough. I'm glad that the SSBB code will be a different one from the Wii. I'm kind of reluctant to give my 16-digit code to people on this forum because I'm not the only one who uses my Wii. ~Tsugomaru

Re: The Wii is Here.
Link's Crossbow Training comes with the Wii Zapper, and I got the Wii Zapper because I'm looking to buy RE:UC soon. Link's Crossbow Training is/was a nice bonus, and I like it a lot anyway.

Re: The Wii is Here.
Well there's a ton of people including myself that have placed their friend codes in their sig, or have mentioned them in earlier posts. Besides, the thing with the Smash Bros code might kinda mix things up and cause confusion far as I can see.

Re: The Wii is Here.
I'm not actually sure you understand why I'm reluctant to give my code. I'm not the only one who uses my Wii in the house and I'm not quite sure how they would react if I receive a whole bunch of mail from people on the Internet on it.
I'm not afraid that someone would possess my Wii if I post my code number on the Internet. ~Tsugomaru
