ok yeah, I refuse to FC this with crappy PA, so...yeah, I'll do what I did for Einstein and just wait. Not playing this again.

Re: FFRMas 2010 - from Dec 19th to Dec 25th
32nds/48ths bursts, 16th jumpjacks, 3 minutes long, and it is an FMO. I'm not a judge, I suck at stepping/playing, but seriously: What's happening with you guys?
Yes, I'm talking about RAN. Edit: Whatever, the file is good for me, except for a few things aka long ass 16th jacks, which is hard to PA unless you're Tier 0. |

Re: FFRMas 2010 - from Dec 19th to Dec 25th
That Scintill Piano File: Low 11 - it's basically largiloquent dithyramb except the jacks are at the end. I wouldn't mind this being a VC actually
Bury the Hatchet - WTF. Seriously. This is definitely a 10 if those other two files the day before were 10s. Ran: Framer mess XDDDD |

Re: FFRMas 2010 - from Dec 19th to Dec 25th
if AJ can't even FC with relative ease.. it's not an 11.
PS how did these files even get accepted? Inconsistency is the name of the game

Fix the framers in RAN, and make it an FGO. All I'm saying.

Re: FFRMas 2010 - from Dec 19th to Dec 25th
Jacks. Jacks will always be my downfall - see my replay of Op. 10 No. 9 for more reasons why.
It's a hard 11 to me, just aelthjerlsrfgplfkysft, I'll get it tomorrow. EDIT: P.S. +1 to Bury the Hatchet being a 10. EDIT: Oh, my thoughts on the files - RAN: I'm not a fan of jacks, but the file is pretty damn technical, so props to that. The trills are so rough though D: Op. 10 No.9: LMFAO that jack wrecked my face and will for a while, goddammit. Bury the Hatchet: Fun, but not an 11. Re: FFRMas 2010 - from Dec 19th to Dec 25th
I still think we need to make some kind of standardized judging of files so that we stop changing the relative difficulty of what an fmo is.
Bury the hatchet would easily be an 11 if it was 2008, but the standards have changed. To avoid this kind of mess in the future we need to stop letting it change and put down some definitions. |

Re: FFRMas 2010 - from Dec 19th to Dec 25th
For the record Bury The Hatchet was a good file, but is not deserving of an FMO rating in any way

Re: FFRMas 2010 - from Dec 19th to Dec 25th
It just never made any sense to me why we lowered fmo's to 10's because the community got better at the game. So there were more ffr masters, doesn't seem like an issue to me.

Re: FFRMas 2010 - from Dec 19th to Dec 25th
That goes into the discussion of Adventures of Lolo being an 11 instead of a low 12.
While the raw difficulty of the file hasn't changed, having an FMO/FGO system is what causes all the commotion. I support AJ's idea of having the 1-99 scale instead of 1-12 |
