Re: FFR Player's Handstyles
"-multiple styles will only be admitted if you can relatively decent scores with both styles OR the style is extremely difficult/uncommon"
Does this mean I can say I'm playing with a different style now? My new style is: >, num7, num8, num9 (Rthumb, Rindex, Rmiddle, Rring) And I'm not good at it now, but i fully intend to get better:P So, can that be included on the list? |

Re: FFR Player's Handstyles
WTH!? Why aren't there as many DF JK's as I thought there would be?
It's the perfect way to spread. It's the way you type! Home row keys! I'm DF JK all the way. EDIT: L mid, L index, R index, R mid -_-; Last edited by danny53x; 08-8-2008 at 11:27 AM.. |

Re: FFR Player's Handstyles
i don't think there is a need to over complicate the way you play...i play index...end of story who cares if i play with: * $ k O
there is index, spread, one hand, and a hybrid type of deal.

obviously, there is more than index/spread/onehand. Hybrid is composed of an infinite amount of possibilities. It's ignorant to lump them under one "hybrid" category.

Re: FFR Player's Handstyles
I now play with a new hand style. It's helped me a bit with understanding how to play solo.
Index-Ring Spread (L ring)(L index)(R index)(R ring) SpammyMcSquirrel - s f j l It also makes left-hand patters alot easier. |

Re: FFR Player's Handstyles
Left - Left Index - J
Down - Right Index - K Up - Right Middle - O Right - Right Ring - P Essentially it's a default 2-handed arrow key setup; your hands just have more room.

Re: FFR Player's Handstyles
Please explain the difference between Hybrid Spread and Middle Ring Spread. I don't really see any differences.

Re: FFR Player's Handstyles
I play one-handed for easy songs obviously and I play spread for the more difficult songs.

Re: FFR Player's Handstyles
I believe hybrid is when the keys aren't right across from each other.
I could be wrong though. |
