Re: Mahou's training log
It's been pretty hectic with work and such, so I haven't been going as hard as I want to. Because of this, I just kind of ate in my range so I could at least just maintain my body weight. I decided to go ahead and get another gym membership again (at two) because it's nice to be put in a different atmosphere. With that being said, I'm still making a lot of strength/endurance progress for maintaining that weight.
Decline bench 135 - 1 x 5 225 - 1 x 8 275 - 1 x 5 295 - 1 x 3 315 - 1 x 4 275 - 1 x 8 225 - 1 x 8 135 - 1 x 8 Deadlift 135 - 1 x 10 225 - 1 x 8 315 - 3 x 8 this old lady got really mad at me when I finished my third set. Also this second gym is a little more lenient on my doing certain things (i.e. recording). I'm going to try to get some footage in here and there - just don't count on it being some sort of habitual thing because lots of times I'm in the zone when I'm lifting. I also decided that I'm going to be doing two a days once or twice a week just to throw something new at my body.

Re: Mahou's training log
Been awhile since I've posted in this thread, but I figured I might as well post a little bit of my fitness progress.
I'm probably 3-6 lbs heavier than I have been when I last posted, but I think majority of it is muscle. I actually have not been taking creatine for the past month, and I've pretty much still have been excelling in a lot of my lifts. I think the main thing that impresses me the most about myself is the amount of working sets that I can do now. So today's workout looked a little something like this Flat Bench 135 lbs 2 sets of 8 225 lbs 5 sets of 10 135 lbs 1 set of 8 50 reps of 225 in a single workout on the flat is a lot of weight. I didn't think I'd be able to accomplish that this year. Maybe next year I'll be doing 3 sets of 15 with 225. After bench, I proceeded to go to workout some core, and did some strict overhead press (no belt). 95 lbs 2 sets of 8 135 lbs 1 set of 8 Next I went and worked on a hammer strength back machine. Eh, did about 3 sets on that. Last thing I did was 15 minutes on a stair master on level 12. So overall, my workouts have been looking something like this. My heart feels great - I can breathe very well. Overall, this is definitely the strongest I've ever been.

Re: Mahou's training log
I just recently recovered from a minor shoulder injury when doing a heavy decline press (I believe I wrote down 335 lbs in my log). So as for now, I'm just taking things kind of slow. These past few workouts I have done nothing but weight no heavier than 225.
Right now, I'm still weighing pretty much the same. The weight will fluctuate anywhere between 210-220 for the most part. My eating habits have been pretty normal - 3 solid square meals a day. Because of this recent injury, I'm taking a break from strength training. The next few months, I will just focus on volume more than anything. More volume = more hypertrophy. I also want to add that I will be trying to do other things that aren't weight lifting related. It has been almost 3 years since I've started this journey and the burn out phase is starting to come. I'm not sure what to do, but I will probably end up playing some sport to make my physical activity more interesting now. Looking back at all my fitness posts, I hope that people kind of learned something from my experience. There will be trial and error, and there will be ups and downs. The road of progression is definitely a hilly and bumpy ride - but overall, it has helped me overcome personal issues and self esteem problems I've had years ago. Not in a million years did I think I was going to stick with this and make it a lifestyle. Anyway, here we go 2019! Lets gets some gains.

Progress picture for 2019. I pretty much almost look the same but I am stronger.
