#1 DAW
Still learning to work with this one. Won't be producing with this, but will be rather using it for livesets. |

Except mine is on an actual GB Classic. 8)
As you can see, I produce all of my music outside. I should also mention that I am missing several instruments from this picture but I am too lazy to go get them. And my DAW, EnergyXT2 :>

Re: post your music studio
It looks deceptively simple, to be honest. That's what The Southern Cross looks like on my end. If you don't know the song, it's up on the rithum player.
Yeah I have a lot of guitars and a dual computer setup, midi keyboard but I don't really use them that much for electronic production.

I'd post a picture but I'm pretty sure you all know what FL Studio and a mouse looks like by now.

Hey Spook, you ever tried Psycle? Pretty good Buzz clone. Only reason I use it is because my laptop didn't really like Buzz like my desktop did.

Re: post your music studio
No, I still use the original with the overloader. I tried the new beta, and the generator that let's you draw the waveform you want to use is a lot of fun, but I'm waiting for it to be a bit more finished before I switch over.
Sometimes I use soundforge to prepare a sample, but other than that Buzz is all I've ever used. You should try it, Merk. It's incredibly powerful software even after being out a decade, most of your VSts will work within it, and your samples.

Re: post your music studio
Yea seeing as i'm pretty much broke atm (college does that to you) I really only use free programs and programs that i know i can afford (like my wonderful mixcraft program) i'm trying to purchase a keyboard so i can make more fluid sounds instead of using midi's all the time.

http://www.kvraudio.com http://www.tweakbench.com (if you're into retro [as in chiptune etc.] sound emulation) http://rekkerd.org/downloads/ (All of the very nice DSK plugs are hosted here, as well as Rekkerd's own royalty free samples) http://www.freesound.org (great source of royalty free samples under Creative Commons liscencing) I could go on, but that should be good for now. |
