Step Programs!
Ok, I want to know if there is a other program for stepping your own songs than Stepmania. If you know a program, say it here and give a url to the site.
And you can give your opinion about the program that you use ( why it is so good or why it just sucks ) so let me know ! |

Re: Step Programs!
http://www.ddreamstudio.com/ DDReam Studio, good for syncing if you know how to use it
http://www.thomasscott.net/xstep/xstep-1-0-2.zip XStep, not very good http://dwi.ddruk.com/ Dance With Intensity, SM is better. Stepmania is the best, don't know why you want to switch. |

Re: Step Programs!
You send me a PM and for some reason I couldn't reply. It says you have not enabled Private Messages, so here:

An easier way for songs that have a constant tempo is to use a BPM Finder, such as http://www.mixmeister.com/bpmanalyzer/bpmanalyzer.asp That will give you the BPM. Then you need to find the "Gap." (Which you can change with F11 and F12) This is basically the exact second that the song starts at (which usually is not 0.00) You can slow down the music to find a good estimate of what second the song starts, or you can use a program like http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/ Audacity to find the exact second by importing the MP3 file. Hope this all helps, good luck stepping! |

Re: Step Programs!
Looks like I'll have to stick with DDREAM, SM stopped working for me. Goes too slow, can't even tell whats going on.
Anyone know if DDREAM can have BPM changes and stops? |

Re: Step Programs!
BPM Changes = Yes
Stops = Yes* If you save/load in the ds format, stops work as intended. BUT If you load from the SM format, stops may shift the arrows and beats on the visualization and may cause confusion (as of v. 1.10). http://ddreamstudio.ddrplace.com/poc....html#bpmstops Many people do the BPM changes in ddream then do the stops in SM.
