Default sorry if this doesnt go here but its a help tip

while playing any ffr game, dont listen to the music very much and focus on the game. you can turn the volume off if you want but i noticed that im getting messed up a number of times from the musuic. i sometimes really get into the music and hum or sing with it and it messes me up. but this is whats happening to me. if anyone else is having the same thing as i am, then post here i guess. im just giving a hint that dont get into the music much. it can distract you. but i always keep the volume up cause the songs are awsome. especially the dance. so anyways, its 2:28 am and i gotta hit the sheets (meaning im gonna go to bed. also another expression would be hit the sacks which might not sound right if your a guy but anyways) i wonder who has the same distraction as me. dont get to much into the music. it can distract you. im not saying the music does distract but getting into it can distract you from 100 and up combos. sorry for the long post. ^_^

Not listening to the music ruins your PA. Welcome to the forums.

I've started getting better PA in FFR ever since when I started trying listening to songs. I was ruined in StepMania by playing way too many NVLM files, where I had to just look at the notes, not try to match the music.

Haha then whats the point to music.
Actually i have noticed on songs I don't like, such as final fantasy, i get better scores without the music.

I actually have been forced to turn the speakers off on two occasions: Skellybones, which is completely off sync once you get to like, 120 combo or so, and For Who I Am, which horrible as well as completely off sync. This is a beat matching game though, so the music is essential.

lol, alot of songs are off beat and it's horrible, but you know.. just hit the notes when you're suppose to and you can still leave the speakers on. but, don't get too caught up in the music because it can always ruin your FC.

The music is there because the arrows are step and while your dancing, remember this is a simulation game.
