Re: question for pros
11-12k gameplays in a span of 1-1.5 years to get FGO AAAs/mid-high FGO SDGs. I have prior rhythm game experience though (O2Jam). Also half the playcount spent on a shitty, bulky keyboard before i decided that it's impossible to do FGOs properly with this one and got a much better one for only 6-7 US dollars (got me some sick stepmania scores before the keyboard died a year later)

Re: question for pros
Took me a year to get Heavy, another year to get an FMO, and then another year to get a FGO AAA

Re: question for pros
After switching from split to spread around the 5 year mark, it took me about half a year to AAA my first VC.

Re: question for pros
I believe I joined in November 2010, and my first AAA was a 5 (Secret Zombie Room). I was getting 9's in January and by March I was getting 10's. Then I got my first FMO in June.

Re: question for pros
Longer than it took me to grow the little bit of stache that I have.

Re: question for pros
A little over a year to get my first FMO AAA, around 2.5 years to get my first FGO AAA. No prior rhythm gaming experience but 15 years of piano helps.

Re: question for pros
The key to getting really good and fast aside from practicing is a good mechanical keyboard. If you can hear the keytaps while playing then it'll really help your accuracy.

Re: question for pros
1-2 years, really depends on if you're counting "able to" or "got" because I don't go for aaas hardly ever xD

Re: question for pros
Took me about 3 years for a VC. Then another year to get a FMO. Still no FGO though, but I do have a couple of BF's.
Depends on the person, could take a range from 1-4 Years.

Re: question for pros
I really think having someone next to you telling you exactly why you mess and what to work on could speed up that process a ton.

Re: question for pros
That's something that I really have to improve, my accuracy. I ALWAYS get a lot of goods on songs when I really shouldn't be. What speed is best to play on?

Re: question for pros
It took me years of rhythm gaming (ddr, guitar hero, iidx, stepmania) practice, and about 4 months of FFR.
But I could probably barely FC any FMOs now because of not playing, etc. |
