Re: [J-Core] 4boss
doesnt sound like j-core at all oups
[listen to some t+pazolite, redalice, RoughSketch, RaverRose, kenta-v.ez, lolsharpnel or even shimamura and jakazid to see how it's done] compared to the song earlier, one of your weaker works. everything sounds mediocre except the big gabber kick. lacks direction etc also check pm Last edited by Coolboyrulez0; 05-26-2011 at 11:06 PM.. |

Re: [J-Core] 4boss
Well actually it makes me think about some song dustcloth or Raver would make, but the "cut" between each notes is too dry to sounds like j-core, I think, the genre is way more melodic than that.
I think you should stick to your basses and collab with me to have some awesome speedcore+catchy tune+amens mixture

I dunno, sounds similar in style to some RoughSketch to me. Seems plenty enough like jcore. Just needs some ridiculous moe samples or some shit.

Re: [J-Core] 4boss
Roughsketch's sound is way different, it's a lot more raw/industrial and glitchy, usually involving a pretty distinct melody.
http://soundcloud.com/roughsketch87/roughsketch-feat-minami-gt-dd This reminds me a lot of some of the more oldschool gabber. except faster. Needs more intro before that buildup imo though. Right now it just starts with the buildup to the song, whereas most other hardcore songs have some pre-melody basskick part, then the breakdown and then the climax. J-core really is a loosely used term and doesn't really mean anything aside from the fact that it has japanese influences. J-core can be any style of hardcore music. The artists CBR listed for example range from hardtrance to speedcore. It's still all considered j-core.

Re: [J-Core] 4boss
Maybe sounds a little like J-Core, but it definitely needs more girls orgasming in the background.

Re: [J-Core] 4boss
Imo there's almost nothing that defines this as even a little J-Core, aside from the videogame remixing part. And even the remixing could just as well be a regular tune you'd find in any other hardcore song, since the melody is pretty bland and unrecognizable for a videogame tune. It's just sounds like regular speedcore.
That's not saying it's a bad song, but I wouldn't classify this as J-Core. J-Core doesn't necessarily need raped animu loli voices to "classify" as J-core btw. That's kind of a false image on J-Core.
