Some songs for ya'll
GP5 Tabs
Music 1 Music 2 Late Nite Jam Anyone who wants to use these for FFR is free to do so (tho they may be a little long). Even if ya don't wanna step em I always appreciate critiques on my stuff. Most of my songs are heavily rock based (which is rough cause a good guitar sound is retarded to find). Also, If you have Guitar Pro 5 I have the tabs for the songs on there. Anyways lemme know what you think! Last edited by melonman67; 10-1-2009 at 08:56 PM.. |

Re: Some songs for ya'll
Awesome, better than all of the generic techno dumps on this site. If anyone steps this for FFR it better be freaking amazing.
Everyone, this is how music should be made.

Re: Some songs for ya'll
I suggest not insulting genres in the future, Stargroup.
It sounds good, but, at the same time, the lack of mastering really brings the professional composed sound of it down. Nevertheless, the composing for the style of rock you're aiming for is quite good, I would suggest a bit more distortion on the guitar. And it may just be me, but that first part of the piano seems like it's "Catching up" with the rest of the track, like it's an eighth note behind or something. It also seems like the drums outweigh the guitar on certain tracks, but that also could be just me. |

Hey, I never insulted an entire genre of music. It's just that most of the music here is generic, seriously.
Last Minute is probably my favorite out of these.

Downloaded all of em', awsome stuff. Don't know why nothing's on FFR yet...
Are most of your songs constant bpm? Or do they have bpm changes, if theres bpm changes, it'd be nice to know

Re: Some songs for ya'll
Only one with BPM changes is Poop Jam (slowly but evenly speeds up to 180 I think). Since they're made and rendered in Fruity Loops, unless intentionally done It's a constant BPM.
Also if anyone actually looks at the tabs I also have a tab for my OP (had to restructure it since Ossa chopped the original mp3 up for remixing). You can get it at the link below. OP Tab |

Re: Some songs for ya'll
I figured it's better to keep using this rather than starting a new topic.
After a year of nothing, I finally got a musical idea going and made another cheesy song. Now I'm looking for people to give it a once over. Lemme know what ya think (if ya want the gp5 tabs or a midi I can do that too). http://www.mediafire.com/?joydzjfdlhk Also, can anyone figure out what scales I'm using for the breakdown and first half of the solo (cause I really don't know). I used Eminor as the guide, but was forced to use some out of key notes...yet it still sounded alright. Thanks! |
