hey guys i'm new to this dahahaha... yeah what are DWI files?
and how do i play them? thanks for taking your time to look at this ! |

DWI files are stepfiles used in the game Dance With Intensity, and I think FFR, also. (Although I would rather think that FFR uses SM stepfiles.)

You take the entire folder and go to your Stepmania folder.
Then go to your Songs folder and make a new folder (call it MooMoo_Cowfreak for me ) Put the folder that has the DWI in it into the MooMoo_Cowfreak folder and you should be able to play your song. Contact me if you need anymore help.

Nobody uses DWI any more. (Correct me if I'm wrong though)
Stepmania can read both .dwis and .sms, and .dwis are higher compression, but can't have mines/rolls/lifts nor can it have piu, solo, couples or any of the other weird charts stepmania is starting to support like 7key.
