Alrightie then, on with the introductions

. Yo, I'm Dae314 pronounced sorta like die (da-eh), not like day and before you ask, 314 is for pi ^^. I first came to FFR because I didn't wanna download stepmania and set up all the songs for it xD. I was pretty noob back like a year and a half ago now and I could barely complete the level 2 songs here D:. Since FFR went down for a while I downloaded and set up stepmania with songs and trained on that till one day I noticed that out of the blue FFR had returned!!! It was so nostalgic to play some of the old songs I used to struggle on (I now play 9 or 10 level songs here for practice and 8 for fun, 10-12 on stepmania).

Now that the history lesson's over, here's more about me now. I play one handed with my right hand on the keys i, j, k, l (because my laptop arrow keys suck). I was big into stepmania till last summer when I got bored with it. In that time I managed to train myself up from level 5 songs to level 10-12. here's my youtube channel where I upload some of my stepmania songs. I still play for fun once in a while, and I slowly upload songs on bemanistyle as I find the will to work on them xD I upload them under the same sn as here, dae314. I'm just posting on this forum to see what it's like and maybe make some friends and have fun

Non-FFR/stempania info incoming: I like computers and I am currently majoring in computer science. I'm an active build advisor on bit-tech (not a formal position but that's about all I do :P) so if anyone wants advice on building a computer I'd be happy to help. Anything generally computer related I'll be happy to help with unless it's more complicated or requires more specialized knowledge. I also started watching anime more this past summer, my anime list profile here.

I have a question!

Are we going to get the simfile database back eventually (not exactly the old one but a place where people can upload simfiles)?

I don't think so, too many copyright issues with songs.
Just download Stepmania and use this site right hurr

Unfortunately, no, for legal and space reasons. We plan to keep the batches running as quickly as possible to get as many songs into the main game engine as we can, though.
