Cry me a river
Hi there guys.
To start this thread, I wanna thank Stian, Luis and Mina for keeping me in this game so long (and all of you who made great simfiles) I have come to the conclusion that after 6 years (on the mark today) It's time to throw in the keyboard. I have had some great times with this game and most of all with you guys, where would I ever have gotten without you haha. One of the main reasons im quitting is that, A few weeks ago I got drunk and threw away my bracelets (metal arm thingys I had) And I cant really play without them, I've had them for roughly 3 years and playing without them just isnt right, I cant position my arms in anyway correct (mabye I should blame my monitor for this?) I've tried playing without them, I did quad A brief oddyssey in time without them but thats not nearly comparible to anything good of what I used to get. Of course I will still hang on the forums and see new players take on the spot for the higher ups, it has been so much fun being in the top with you guys and competing over scores. I cant express how much you guys actually do mean to me (lolgaymoment) So I want to take a bit of this post to reminisce old times, and some of my big moments according to myself. VIDEO TIME Crazy MA stuff: First to ever break 20's on RATO 6perfs on Dark blowhole 1.3 I highly doubt anyone will EVER beat this SDP on Dragon's Eye, A score that even wrecked Midares MA Crazy First/Nearly firsts First ever AAA on When the water breaks Third ever AAA on Outlaw First ever AAA on Almost there edit Crazy speed stuff ~_~ Crazy comboing of Blue planet Almost unbeatable score on Danse Macabre 1.3 Crazy vibrating stuff Kirlian shores wrecked, I was probably the one who had the easiest time passing this, I know both dossar and wooke had so much troubles with this one while I can still pass this 9/10 times Terastream beginner 1.1 AA Fots Linus Edit AA Lastly i want to finish the video section off with one of my most speaked of passes Who will ever forget this video? So tl;dr I will remain on the forums because I love hanging around here and the people that comes with it. Apparently people spoke behind my back as the "best overall player" if Thats what you think please say so, I rarely brag about being but if there is a time for bragging, now is the time I guess.. Thank you everyone for making my *dream of becoming a stepmania pro come true, and all the amazing moments we had during those six years. Special people that needs to be mentioned: Eze: Man you were always slightly better at me when it came to wrist jacks, you're an amazing player with amazing potential. Dynam0: It amazed me that you came back to this game, for the better of course. Keep it up bro, it was so much fun trying to rally vibrate stuff with you back in like 08 Mnicol: You might not read this Nathan but damn, it was so much fun when we played together back in the day, even solo together and shit. Minaciousgrace: You taught me how to be pr0, it was fun when we played dumb shit on fast rates etc mang. Hope u make it back to africa one day hehu3. Bluearrowll: Man this guy.. I know him for 4 things, Hamburgers, Astronomy, Hockey and being better than me at Cry for eternity LOL btw go sharks. DossarLX: Bet you didnt think i'd include you here eh? It was really fun when I found yet another vibrating ****** like me, same as dynamo, fun rallying with vibrate stuff with you (even though your stamina was like omghax) LLaMaSaUceYup: One of the best people I ever met on this side, sadly we never speak anymore (idk why bro) Colin if you read this, COME BACK <3 Danny/FFRNeon: Another one of the best people I met here, we had so much fun talking shit and what not. Hope you're doing great bud. Kommisar: For making great food, being an amazing friend and for making AMAZING stepmania charts. Special section: Staiain: Wow man.. We hang out IRL and stuff and that's SO awesome, i never really realized that we would be such good friends, but we are! The competition that we had was great even though you were mostly better than me, you were my biggest rival or at least the one I had for the longest. Much love bro. Luis: I dont even know where to start, my true friend of doglolzowl and stuff. I just dont know what hanging around here would have been like if it werent for you. You are my best friend, and I never want to lose you as that. We talk almost every day, WE WILL MEET IN MAY OMG. So much happiness for you bro, cant wait till we go pleased dog all over AN

Re: Cry me a river
Aw man, was hoping that you would destroy Stepmania for a long time, but everyone has to stop at some point.
You're a really chill (and respectable) player, your scores have always impressed me, haha. Thanks for the mention bro, sick videos and all, we should talk more xd |

Re: Cry me a river
Dammit go get some new bracelets!!!
Nah but honestly, if you really are throwing in the towel it's a shame...I always was wtfing over every score you posted. Having incredible accuracy but also being a speedy gonzales is something very few ppl have (I'll even go far as to say you were the most accurate of the truly speedy dudes out there, which to me really makes you a contender for greatest player). Vibro-era was awesome for sure! It was a totally different way to approach the game for me and I really want to get back into that sometimes believe it or not rofl Anyways, good to see you'll be sticking around. Super hyped for AN in May |

Re: Cry me a river
Too bad you're quitting. There are few people who were elite tier at both the speed and the accuracy component of stepmania. Also, I'll never understand how people can vibro-jack so well...

Re: Cry me a river
fixd.
Yeah it's not really about hobby's etc. It's more that i've come to the conclusion that, to get better than I ever were will be too much of a hassle and spending months of getting used to playing like this just isnt worth it. Plus I might find another music game to get good on..
