The VGMPP!
Description!
Welcome to the making of The VGMPP (The Video Game Miniature Pad Pack)!!! This is not a keyboard pack (obviously stated above), but indeed a pad pack! For this pack we have 2 major goals in mind. Goal #1 - 10 pad files, tops! We don't want this pack to take forever. That's a main issue when creating packs. They take too long, people get tired of waiting, and the pack release isn't as exciting. It also ensures the most quality. When having to judge too many files, you get burned out and let crap pass through. If crap passes through, you don't get a quality pack, and we want this pack to be 100% quality. If it's not quality, then it's crap! Which brings us to our next goal. Goal #2 - Quality! We want this bad boy to be hacked on to ITG machines. Nobody wants to hack a crappy pack on to a machine. Since this pack is about quality, we will be strict on the files we let in (not so strict where everything is rejected, but you get the point). By the time this pack is finished, we expect all files to have quality Novice-Expert singles charts (maybe doubles... but only if people actually want to make doubles for all of the files...) and beautiful graphics. Very, very beautiful ITG style graphics. We want this pack to be a community effort, so if you submit a file with only an Expert singles chart, then somebody else can help make the other charts (as long as the original file creator is okay with said person making the extra charts). All charts will be signed with the person's name who made the file in the name field. Rules! (This is a video game pack, so VG music ONLY!) #1. NO RHYTHM GAME MUSIC! #2. NO TOUHOU MUSIC! #3. All files must have ITG style graphics. This means that they have to look good or else they will have to be remade (by the artist or by someone else), and the dimensions have to be 768x480 for the BG and 418x164 for the banner. (please, no CDTitles!) #4. All songs have to be at least 1 minute and 30 seconds long. They can only be 2 minutes and 15 seconds long at the most. #5. When you submit a file, it must have an Expert singles chart. Everything else can be added later. #6. Unreleased files only. (Obviously) Judges! (Aren't they sexy?) MacGravel Tsuka (dead) Kommisar (undead) PsYcHoZeRoSk8eR (papers) File List! (Blue means finished, Red means incomplete.) Click on the name of a song to download the song and skeleton. Post in this thread which difficulty you will be making, and I'll add your name to the list. When you finish the chart, just copy the entire .sm and post it like so Code:
Your .sm here Singles Novice - Easy - Medium - Hard - Expert - Monst3rjoe Doubles Easy - Medium - Hard - Expert - Graphics Needed! #2 - Diamond Dust Zone Act 1: Singles Novice - Easy - Medium - Hard - Expert - Patashu Doubles Easy - Medium - Hard - Expert - Graphics Finished! #3 - Meta Knight's Revenge: Singles Novice - Malachai Easy - Malachai Medium - Malachai Hard - Malachai Expert - Malachai Doubles Easy - Malachai Medium - Malachai Hard - Malachai Expert - Malachai Graphics Needed! #4 - A Spirit of Bushi: Singles Novice - Easy - Medium - Hard - Monst3rjoe Expert - MacGravel Doubles Easy - Medium - Hard - Expert - Graphics Finished! #5 - Monstrous Turtles!: Singles Novice - Easy - Medium - Hard - Expert - zimlord Doubles Easy - Medium - Hard - Expert - Graphics Finished! #6 - Rap de Chocobo!!: Singles Novice - Easy - Medium - Hard - Expert - Revolver Doubles Easy - Medium - Hard - Expert - Graphics Needed! #7 - SAMURAI DRILL!: Singles Novice - Easy - Medium - Hard - Expert - Mootz Doubles Easy - Medium - Hard - Expert - Graphics Needed! #8 - Bingo Highway: Singles Novice - Easy - Medium - Hard - Expert - Kommisar Doubles Easy - Medium - Hard - Expert - Graphics Needed! #9 - : #10 - : Submit! Re: The VGMPP!
Why ffr peoples start always a pack when they never finish one.
I mean, why did you not wait for those other packs done. It's so a waste of time and confuse peoples. Any way, if i got time and if i found a good song to step with all rules ok,i will send a file for this. |

Re: The VGMPP!
ever since 2005 there have been a dozen+ packs going on at the same time.. Considering Macgravel has released three (3) prior VGM packs, I'd say he's in the running for one that will actually be finished and pretty good.

Re: The VGMPP!
I'm guessing that it is perfectly acceptable for someone to take a file from VGMP/2/3 and take out all the hands, then all the jumps, then all the 32nds/24ths/16ths/12ths/8ths/4ths/nths and go from there. Oh wait, we want unreleased... There goes my idea for submitting to this.
Also also, gfx. |

Re: The VGMPP!

Re: The VGMPP!
Staff can handle them if they don't feel like trying. Also, you can re-step something from VGMP 1-3, just make it unique from what was already stepped.
