Trying to buy subbie.
I've been wanting to buy a subscription for a while now.
But Paypal seriously hates me. I changed my password in March, and they listed my account as limited after that. Gave me a whole bunch of steps to go through to verify it was me. Did all the steps, and they told me to wait 24-48 hours and it'd be cleared. It's July now, and the account is still limited. I can't send or do anything through it. And since my card is already registered to them, I can't bypass having the account, and just signing up for a new one. In short, Paypal sucks. Is there any other way of getting a subscription?

Re: Trying to buy subbie.
Have you tried closing your account on Paypal?

Re: Trying to buy subbie.
In answer to those:
I only have 53,000 credits total. and I like the songs at 40,000 and 30,000 unlocks. Tried closing it - but they won't let you close it while it's limited. Also tried removing CC from account, same thing. And I hear ya who_cares. I hear ya.... They are just horrible at customer support. Anybody know of a way I can send money by CC through another service to FFR?

Yeah - it's a bump
Yeah - it's cheap. But I want to find out if there's any other way to get a subscription other than through PayPal.

Re: Trying to buy subbie.
I think you can send money orders though the mail.

Sounds like a possible plan.

Re: Trying to buy subbie.
This is what you can do-
If you have a second Hotmail account, then use it to make another PayPal account. If not, go make another one. Once you have that, just make a second account and add the credit card to your new account. You don't have to verify your account, just put the card on and go. :P Once you're done, it's your choice if you want to keep/delete the account. |

Re: Trying to buy subbie.
i would contact PayPal customer support... but, unfortunately, i can tell you from personal experience, they won't do much. i had an issue where i owed a guy $1200 and sent it to him over PayPal. PayPal went and froze the transaction and my account, flagging it as potential fraud. Which, it clearly wasn't. Then i accidentially screwed up and entered the wrong phone number for the account (i didn't remember which # i had used, all those years ago...), so i wound up having to wait about a week to get a letter in the mail that had a code on it to fix it, and PayPal customer support wouldn't help me at all.
The dude i owed the cash to was PISSED... he thought i had frozen the transaction and was backing out on paying him, etc etc. Was not a pleasant week, trying to talk to him over the phone and assure him that i wasn't screwing him over.

Re: Trying to buy subbie.
wow, Tass, that kind of happened to me when i had to go through like 5 accounts since they keep going limited because they thought I was a fraud and stole an identity , which was me -_-, and now I fixed it and customer support didn't do or KNOW anything =_=. . .. .
