How do you play Diagonally?

How do you play ffr with the Diagonal Scroll of the arrows? I've tried it many times, and I still suck.

flip the screen on its side so arrows are on top.

If you are using an "ASKL" setup, change the settings to "KASL" so the arrows line up. Also because of the frame rate, only 1x can be used.

It's tough if you aren't used to it I guess. If you don't like it, then don't use it.
