Increased skill from switching keys.
I just switched from spread as kl to spread df hj.
I am all the sudden really fast! It's tight. Although jumps are harder with my hands closer together. I recommend spread players switch keys once in a while. |

Re: Increased skill from switching keys.
I would, but I've gotten so used to <v86 that I can't switch to anything else without doing bad.

I use DF and UI, and when I switched to it from AS, OP, I got a pretty big skill increase. I think it has something to do with bringing my hands closer together.

Oh, That makes sense. I didn't realize that because laptops don't have num pads.

Yeah I've tried out VBNM from time to time, having your hands closer together can actually help for certain songs.
I'd say mainly trills. Quote:
It just takes time to get adjusted to new keys, for instance ASKL. Actually... You can even try out ASIL. Last edited by LLaMaSaUceYup; 07-1-2008 at 10:10 PM.. |

Re: Increased skill from switching keys.
I'd try other combos, but I don't think they register as well for me as df kl.
