Default Disturbed - Inside The Fire

So I just finished making this sim and I can't upload it here. I've uploaded many sims here before but this time it isn't working. I've tried it twice. What's wrong? If you like I could copy and paste what the response was.

Anyways I could, however, upload it successfully @ bemanistyle for anybody who wants to play it:

http://www.bemanistyle.com/sims/simfile.php?id=24719

Oh and do you guys know if the album's out already? I forgot when it comes out.

*edit* This is what it said when I tried to upload it:

Warning: move_uploaded_file(sims/sims/6290833524N.T.M..zip) [function.move-uploaded-file.html]: failed to open stream: Read-only file system in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/sims/upload.php on line 55

it was pretty boring to be honest. and at about 830 or so notes in (before the jacks) you were doing holds when they could of been more notes or jacks at least. throughout the sim you missed some stuff you could of stepped to.

4/10

4/10? Wow that's prety harsh. And yes I know that the holds coulda been 8th note jacks, but I thought holds seemed better. Now as for elliminating some stuff, I thought I had to. You can only layer so many beats before it looks messy (what did you have in mind though?). As I'm sure you noticed I switched the beats a stepped a few times when it repeated. The main issue though IMO is the song: it's pretty repetitive. I guess I coulda stepped some lyrics to change it up but I was worried that the transition would be too "outta flow."

And last question: Do you think it's the song choice, or just this file that's boring?

Yes, but very repetitive. What's your opinion on my sim for it? What would you do differently in the event you stepped it for FFR?

I just wanna get some more opinions.

Alright, yeah I see what you were saying. Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate the honesty.

The parts where you stepped to vocals then switched to the guitar were weird. Also the jacks at the solo were the most unimaginative and unfun things ever. Maybe it's just because I can't do jacks though. Some parts seemed a bit offsync as well.

I didn't step any of the vocals, and nothing was outta sync (not trying to sound cocky or anything). But regarding the jacks, what would you have done to make it better? I mean I didn't see many possibilities there. I thought jacks were the only option. If I were to convert the jacks into 2 repeating notes that woulda compromised the room available for the other notes (reducing it to only 2). That obviously wouldn't have permitted any real pattern structure.

*edit* Maybe you thought parts were outta sync cuz you thought I was stepping the vocals. Frequently they'll overlap portions of the guitar, etc.

actually played this

the jumps were surprisingly well placed, however the guitar riffs are ignored/not stepped right at all. You're ignoring key melodies and it just feels really empty.

I don't really understand what you mean. What key melodies did I ignore? IDK, there's just not much to the solo. I appreciate the feedback though. IDK what you mean though. I'd like to improve if I can, but I don't understand what you mean. Could you go into detail please?

*edit* Maybe you're referring to the holds in place of the jacks?

Eh, it must be a pattern preference then, cuz I was sure not to randomize anything. Oh well.

I just revised the solo for anybody who cares. I used the Rock Band file for reference since I couldn't here it too well. I also replaced those holds with jacks.
