Simple, your level is determined by your grandtotal. :3
There's also mobs and stuff, consider them as you would tier points (<30g on x, SDG on y, etc.)
I don't exactly understand what they're for, or how they contribute to your level.
But you get a pretty badge to sig if you manage. ^^
