If you're going to showcase/demonstrate products, then anime-related stuff will alienate a lot of customers.

I don't know much about TV's, but even for testing, I doubt a MMD video will show the TV's full potential.

As for speakers, you would want to test a whole variety of genres and pick the song that best suits the speakers sound signature.
