@ Suicidal,
I'd agree with you, but sometimes watching other teams makes you appreciate your team more. Especially when you're watching two really bad ones. Or watching two really good teams go at it *cough**cough*VancouverandBoston*cough**hack* makes you appreciate the skill level of said teams and it's always cool to watch competitive hockey.

Tl;dr, less fan of a team, more fan of the game in general.
it won't be halifax. too little population and not enough reach to other cities. if they DID put an atlantic team, it would be in Moncton (the cfl has been considering moncton as an option as well but it's pretty far out). It reaches any major city in the maritimes within 3 hours, and 1.7 million potential spectators.

but that's pretty far fetched anyway. There's more people in toronto than both new-brunswick and nova scotia combined.

oh and congrats to the saint john sea dogs for winning the memorial cup, being the first atlantic canadian team to do so! Moncton wildcats fell short twice in their runs to the cup, losing in the finals to quebec the first time and being eliminated so very closely by windsor the second time. Sea dogs beat Mississauga 3-1 in the finals sunday.
