I still don't really see what the problem with the one-time user thing is. Isn't it better to have users who try the site once than users that don't come at all?

The advertising thing is a good idea, it would definitely help FFR's publicity.

The problem with getting rid of songs like Excite Bike, is that they are one of the most played songs because it's easy and fun (for new users). Getting rid of them could drive away even more existing users.
