Default Re: Post your Paint creations

I'm not sure if y'all even tried to bring greatness out of this program >_>.

Note that these are old as hell and I hardly do any serious MS Paint artwork anymore. All of my drawings in Paint had a bit of a "sprite" feel to them. These are what I could find, anyway.

This was during a time in my life that I like to call my "age of ignorance" - I would pick sides, but didn't know why. I was a complete retard then -_-. This was probably my first "decent" MS Paint picture as far as shading goes. I used five different shades of gray for the rocket >_>.

There was a thread on VGDC called something like "Make your own marshmallow!" I screwed up with the reflection in the glasses, but it does look decent.

I had an old series called "Not Your Average Sig" that had my sprites, some other peoples' sprites, and backgrounds that I made. Now that I look back it, I realize how much humor it really lacked. I thought it was decent sprite work though. The two below are probably the best as far as artwork is concerned (Other than Mario being immobile in every frame in the first one).

I thought the first and second frame were decent jobs, but I eventually moved on to a slightly different style with my backgrounds, which I thought was half-decent.

Divert your attention from that the fact that it reeks with unfunny and look at the background in the first two frames. I hate the fact that most of the background was covered up by the text boxes.

Y'all might be wondering why his name is stolen from The Simpsons. Well, when my brother spoke of the name, I didn't know where he got it from, and assumed that he made it up. Anyway, the sexy-looking Megaman 7 suit sprites were the way that Steveman polished up MM7 sprites before giving them actual clothes. You have to agree that these look a lot better than the original MM7 suit. I never completed the clothed sprites, though.

This was my first bit of artwork submitted to VGDC - well, before the assholes came in. As you can see, there was a lack of real shading. This was before I discovered how to change colors on the palette.

Sadly, that's all I could find.

Although I primarily use photoshop and usually use Paint to set up GIF animations, this is where I got my skills from - which are better than what's shown here, believe me.
