DDRSN2 is my favorite. I have dance factory and it sucks really bad, the steps are just WAY off sync. It's also too easy.

It is really fun to play solo, and you do not have to download new songs. It is set on AutoDesign so it automatically designs arrows.

The easiest 11 to beat is probably Utopia. Well, at least you completed Xuxa, probably the second easiest.

When you get to 12's, try Tell. It's a cinch for 12's. =P

If you want to use doubles mode, a much easier way is to go to "Gameplay Options" (I think) and select Joint Premium.

To answer your question about the 8 arrow solo, I have no idea, sorry. :(
