Firefox Bookmarks

I recently got (another another) new laptop.

I have an insane (over 100) amount of bookmarks stored in the Firefox of my old laptop.

Is there anyway I can just transport these bookmarks from my old laptop into my new laptop as one replacable piece of data instead of hundreds of separate shortcuts?

I want:
-if possible, to move my bookmark data as one entity through a portable drive (I don't know which file in the program folder that involves)

I want to avoid:
-going to every site and re-bookmarking 100+ sites
-turning every bookmark into browser shortcuts, transfering them unorganized into my new firefox, and resorting/renaming them into their separate folders again (names get altered, and it's extremely tedious when it comes to 100+ bookmarks)

I've tried:
-moving the bookmark folders onto a portable drive (from the browser itself, the bookmark folders can't be converted onto the desktop. only individual bookmarks can be converted into browser shortcuts)

IF there is no other method, then I'll just deal with individual shortcut movement, but I don't want to do something so tedious if a more efficient method exists.

Re: Firefox Bookmarks

Under organize bookmarks there is an option called import and backup

use the export function, and import it on your new computer.

Sorry for bad grammar I gtg

Re: Firefox Bookmarks

I got the export/back up. I moved that file (w/e extension that is) into my new computer. Now what do I do? I can't open it. The import function only allows me to choose from other browsers such as Internet Explorer, and not a separate file.

Never mind, I was being retarded... like most people at 3:38AM. Thank you very much.
