Hear my story??

Lately, my mental wellbeing has been very poor, and...it all stemmed from finishing Year 12 18 months ago. I had spent 6+ hours a day into piano performance, hoping I would get into any kind of conservatory just in time, but alas, my academic merits were insufficient at the time. It's not even the fact I didn't get in that bothered me overtime (because I can always try again as a mature age student), it was...seeing my former music teachers just slowly walk away from me entirely after crying for help had truly poisoned my wellbeing for the past 18 months. The fact that I was around people who would regularly talk about their "reunion" experiences with the same high school and teachers would only fuel my anxiety attacks and poor wellbeing even further.

After being sent to the Adult Mental Health Unit, I was on my way to full recovery. It was very nice to have well-trained professionals that really knew what they were dealing with and didn't resort to quick/dismissive advice. I'm doing a lot better now. I still enjoy doing Software Engineering as my ultimate 'failsafe' plan, and I still compose/arrange music to this day. I might be able to get back into piano again in full as well--I no longer have anxiety attacks when I'm next to one! :)

Some of you might have noticed a hasty farewell message. I was pretty close to jumping in front of a car that day 6 hours running away from home, but someone had come to save me in the nick of time.

Also, I've been holding onto this track for a while, but I figured I might as well release it. I still have to return to the hospital for further analysis, so I'll see you all soon.

It's been real, folks. Thanks for keeping me warm during the toughest parts of Year 8-10 :)

Mate, it's great to hear that you're feeling a lot better over this. I have a lot of issues with anxiety attacks in my own life so I can kind of understand a bit in what you're going through, but hearing that you're kicking its ass is amazing! Stay strong, here's hoping that you get even better in the very near future.

On another note, song's fucking lit. Never stop making music mate. It's too good for it to disappear.

Good to hear you are better garmi, hope you manage to keep going forward from there as I still want someone to call me AutechreBrown and make cool music.
