So I got a part-time job . . .
Basically, I'll be working at an electronics department under Philips tomorrow, as a sales promoter. Before this, I was told by my trainer today that if there are no customers around, I can fiddle around with the speakers/DVD players to learn more about them and if I happened to have a CD or USB thumbdrive, I can play them to test the products and or demonstrate.
So that brings me to the question: What songs and or videos should I play while at work? I've already thrown in a few myself but I wanted to know what you guys want. Just so you know, I absolutely refuse to play anything too hardcore like m1dy. Videos have to be available in HD if I were to consider playing them. Videos: Animusic - Starship Groove MMD - Melody Line MMD - Yellow MMD - Heart Beats MMD - Heart Shooter Music: Animusic 1 Animusic 2 Godspeed - Sigh, FUSE!! OSTER project - Frozen Rain, Midnight Dragon, Dazzling Destiny -Advanced Soul- xi - Mirage Garden, Finder Keepers, Time Files, Church Bell, .357 Magnum, Halcyon, Beatrice, Up in the air, Happy Dreams, E-M Not the entire list, just a few of the many. |

SURE, WHY NOT?
As long as its not Killingscum-ish, then I don't see the problem. |
Re: So I got a part-time job . . .
oh it was kind of a joke because it's like the cliche thing to choose always

If you're going to showcase/demonstrate products, then anime-related stuff will alienate a lot of customers.
I don't know much about TV's, but even for testing, I doubt a MMD video will show the TV's full potential. As for speakers, you would want to test a whole variety of genres and pick the song that best suits the speakers sound signature. |

Point taken there. Though I think the MMDs are just for my own entertainment (since I'm going to stone there for hours)
Regarding the speakers, I think I can handle demonstrating genres like jazz, rock, orchestra and ambient. Though Of course, if customers were to ask me to play Party Rock Anthem I course I'd be embarrassed to say I can't because my party rock is gabberz but if I was asked to play normal music, I'll just play the Animusic CDs because its practically the most 'normal' thing I have on me. Also, I'm not required to demonstrate/sell TVs. Just purely for entertainment. Edit: Ninja'd by a Ghost. Sure, but I only have his Day N' Night remix. |

What kind of sales representative would you be if you did not demonstrate the capabilities of the product you're trying to sell? Don't be foolish, and don't play anime music.

anything that's not known very well would be awesome. People would be like "what the **** is this?" and then you would be like "this shit is VIRT" or "this shit is SHARPNEL."

Skrillex's remix of Good Feeling. Good upbeat party-like song that will catch mainstreamers' ears.
