FFR Community Pack II

I figure since the Dark Chancellor Pack was a giant letdown in comparison to how long it took to come out, we can start a pack to keep our mind off of the ****. I also am aware of the other recent pack failures. I assure you this one will not fail (or at least not as bad).

Welcome to FFR Pack II!!!

The last pack actually surprised most of the stepmania world. Hopefully that can happen again. This pack will end and be released at either of the following times (whichever comes first):
*When we have 40 accepted files
*When we reach this date 6 months from now

This is how this pack is going to work. Submit your keyboard files here if they aren't terrible. Make sure to include:
- the steps to said file
- a song to said file
- a cd title (or if you really need one we can make one for you)

Graphics are a plus, but if you are not able to get them, I am sure I can con someone into making them for us.

Here are some of the rules for this pack:
~ Files must be at least a difficulty of 10 or more. If it is borderline, I say send it anyways. If it's just a little bit too easy, well oh well you tried. If it's like free space or some sh*t then you are going to get made fun of ;-)
~ You may submit any number of files you want. However, you are only allowed to have 8 files in this pack (collabs count as 1/2 a file).
~ Mines, Holds, etc are allowed, and of course rolls are not.
~ The file must be unreleased

Submit your files to ffrcp2@gmail.com

STAFF
To be a part of the staff, please send me a pm, or contact me on aim/msn. If I know you already, I will be able to give you a straight up yes/no answer. If I don't know you, I will test you before you are allowed to judge. Graphic artists, same thing, though since there are less of you that will do graphics the test will be much more lenient.

Re: FFR Community Pack II

Did you really cancel bx2? If so, can Pure Ruby be moved to this pack? Or was that a joke?

buizel8888 02-11-2009 09:39 PM

Re: FFR Community Pack II

i thought you quit kb

Re: FFR Community Pack II

why run this while xoon2 is running
now all the average ffr people will have to divide up their files : (

ps unnecessary sequel and i'd like to know exactly why you didn't like DCP o.0

its not that i didnt like DCP, its just that it should be so much better with how long it took to make

well, to be quite honest, bx2 was starting to get overflooded with submissions after frenchhead failed at making a pack. This give the ffr simartists a chance to show their stuff. I have seen a few decent artists starting to emerge from here (such as cyrenics, NTM, tr4nc33 (or h/o its spelt), and of course moches).

Plus I feel that its kinda wrong for a bunch of people to submit files to a pack belonging to another community when they themselves dont belong to that community.

Re: FFR Community Pack II

i can judge :3

ps would you accept basement funk, mobo moga, and/or smoke
pps i also have a feeling that with a name like ffrII people will possibly put more effort into it :P

btw it might be a good idea to put this on hiatus (yea that makes sense a hiatus before it starts) until bx2 is near the end

...See RATO FFR version.

PS: Pure Ruby took a lot of my energy. Not sure how long it'll take for me to come up with file two. :o

Zybanthia 02-11-2009 10:19 PM

Re: FFR Community Pack II

In that case, I have a file to finish. PR layering dump... if you like technical files, you should appreciate it.

(How odd I'd more seriously promote myself here than any of my Queue/Batch posts)

Re: FFR Community Pack II

The RF2 Pack was kinda a bad pack to those that aren't good at SM or are only decent at it. But technically, its awsome in terms on how its stepped. So props on that. The RF2 pack is definatly what I expected (awsome steps to songs that many of us dont like or care to much about. The technicality aspect of the pact didn't make any of the files in there that fun to me.)

I may make something for this and attempt to insist that I get 1 thing in here at least.
