New Purchased Songs
 

I saw quite a few people were unaware that there have been lots of them lately. Most are a decent buy. Here's my opinion on them.


R8U Another - A really ****ty R8U remix. Nothing special, only worth buying if you have credits to spare.

Holy Orders - A Shash FGO that's decent. Not Adventure's of Lolo hard, but it has some pretty fast BPM 24th streams. Not a bad buy.

Canon in WHEE - A really fun level four Canon remix. It would have been better as a Challenging song judging by the beat, but it's still really fun. A good buy.

Digital Atmosphere* - A super easy yet very fun 4th-only-note song with a good beat and simple steps. A good buy if you want a relaxing sim and a sightread AAA.

Intense Colors (FFR Edit) - A slightly off-sync, extremely easy and boring SGX song. Nothing special at all. Only buy if you have credits to spare.

Johto Wild Pokemon Battle Remix - A decent sim. Some good and simple steps. Enjoyable sim, a decent buy.

Kung Fu Koalas - Yet ANOTHER easy song that's also nothing special. A "meh" buy.

Angel Stays on This Ground - Vocal Remix -* - The horrible lyrics distracted me from the moderately enjoyable steps. It's yet another remix that's another "meh" buy.

Battle Theme #36** - A pretty fun song with some pretty fun steps. Lot's of odd patterned jumps make the sim pretty unique. A nice buy!

Oasis - Long Version -* - Another ****ing remix. It's nothing special at all, and another okay buy.

Toph's OP Remix** - Oh, my, god, remix. I don't know if I can handle too many more of them. But it's actually a very good challenging song and a pretty good buy.

Lapis - The Heavens Remix -* - A challenging song that I believe should be Very Challenging. It's got some pretty difficult jumpstream to. Not that bad of a buy either.

Blue-Violet**: A very fun and unique FMO with accurate steps and a fun beat. A very good buy.


* - A good simfile that makes for a good purchase.
* - A simfile that's currently subscriber-only.

Yeah, your judging is somewhat off. I liked R8U Another and Holy Orders very much, while finding Digital Atmosphere very dull.

Also, purchasing the new song, Lapis, in a second.

I think you should mark which ones are for subs only and which one are public. Specifically, mark Lapis -The Heavens Remix-, Toph's OP Remix, Oasis -Long Version-, Battle Theme #36 and Angel Stays On This Ground -Vocal Remix- as subby songs.

Yes pls. And it doesn't suck, per se, it's just easy.

And regardless of whether or not it's your opinion. A thread like this should have reviews of the files. But, then again, we already have a thread for that.

The only one that stayed in my mind is Holy Orders, because of how awesome it is, and because of why I drastically failed the last official tournament.

New songs should be announced somewhere big on the home page. Too bad my idea that the walrus thought was good got rocks thrown at.

It's taken me like two or three months (whenever gambling was introduced) to regain like 12k credits, and then more purchased song spam comes along. *sighs* You guys really know how to turn people off this game... I recognise some people will play harder to get these credits, but I just don't have the motivation anymore.

Yeah, I had the same idea, and loved it while it was there. But it looked too "tacky" to some, and others used that area too often to get back to the homepage....

Still would love for the idea to be implemented at some point.

In my opinion, I think it should've been kept there for its practicality. I mean, returning to the homepage? That was a ridiculously idiosyncratic reason. A link exists a cm above. Everyone would get used to it in a matter of days. Appearance could be easily improved. Admins have the power to keep it there... so why not? Complaints would subside if the reasoning behind it is foolhardy.

It is not difficult to earn credits.

I made 5K this weekend just using autofail all day trying to AAA stuff. Had I not used autofail, I would've easily made 10K.

You don't have to have every purchased song, you know.

If you do want them though spam Teh Tricky Techno or EHHS or something

Keep in mind that pretty much all of the newly released Purchased songs were stepped in mid 2007, if that's any indication of stepping quality.
