IE or Firefox?

So basically I went to use Mozilla Firefox with FFR today since my IE was acting weird all over the place. Once I got into the game, it looked like FFR was running smoother on Firefox than I've ever played on IE. I always thought that playing the game on Mozilla would cause more lag than playing the game on IE. So yeah, the question still stands: Which browser is better to play FFR in and/or which do you play in?

You made the right move. Firefox is so much better and faster than IE.

I heard the newer versions of opera are the smoothest, haven't tried them myself though

I'm surprised you haven't made this switch earlier. Obv any flash game will run smoother on Firefox as opposed to IE.

Who uses IE anyways..

Firefox is the way to go. IE isnt too bad to play on like on systems such as XP, but Firefox is so much faster and plays basically the same, better then IE if you use Vista.

google chrome was just as bad as IE. I downloaded it, then uninstalled it, and in the comments when it was uninstalled, I openly said it sucked balls and was no better then IE which sucked. I dont see where people think Google Chrome is good. lol.

Ps3's network browser owns all.

Re: IE or Firefox?

Chrome is no faster than firefox or opera, it's just that it has a neat little thing where if one tab locks up the rest will still work.

I use opera for flash based apps, and if it had stumbleupon and adblocker plus I'd switch completely. Firefox takes up way too much RAM.

Opera is better than all, next is Chrome, FF, IE.

But everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Re: IE or Firefox?

Emo - opera, chrome and FF all have certain things they're good at... Don't automatically assume one is better for everything than another browser.

But yes, FF generally does render pages faster and smoother than IE. It will, however, cause bad lag/crash on some older computers. Generally, if you have had your computer for less than 5 years, it should be fine.
