SpinItUP! staff
 

Ok so I have started playing SpinItUp! and it is really fun. I think that it would be cool if we could have a SpinItUp! staff so we can make more improvements. I know this isn't a FFR suggestion but I think it will be better in this section then the SpinItUp! section. SpinItUp! has the potential to be as good as FFR, but the FFR staff is too busy working on FFR to worry about this kind of stuff. You guys should recruit some people for a SpinItUp! staff. This way FFR and SpinItUp! can be worked on at the same time. SpinItUp! could use a lot of new things:

1. Multiplayer, this way people can play each other and it can be even more fun.

2. More songs. The songs are good but it could use some more songs. Maybe every FFR song of the week could be added to SpinItUp! too.

3. Its own website. This way FFR won't just be way too big and too many options and stuff.

These things would be hard to get but if we recruited some members who are good at this kind of stuff then it would be really cool. I would kind of like to maybe do some spinfiles. Synth if you can tell me all I need to know about making spinfiles then please tell me. If you are interested in maybe being a part of the SpinItUp! staff then please tell me. I would like to be part of it but I wouldn't be good at making improvements to the website because I just don't know enough about that kind of stuff. Thank you and please look into this Synth.

P.S. the staff should be good at software and such but shouldn't be an FFR MOD/Admin because they are already busy with FFR.

That would be cool, except that I'm a much bigger fan of FFR than of spinitup, so I'd rather them keep working on stuff like 3rd style. It's not easy to find more people to work on this kind of thing. Also, lol at the poll saying stepmania, and picking the 3rd choice is pretty much the same thing as asking to be a mod.

Damn I didn't mean to put Stepmania staff lol. Is there a way to edit polls? I see your point but this is why people should be recruited into the staff. And they can wait till after Third style comes out if they want. It's just something to look into.

Only mods or higher can edit polls. Waiting till after 3rd style comes out (and fixing all the bugs that would be there at first) would probably be a very long time, too. Maybe then this would be good, but I'm not in support of it right now.

If you could find a group of people dedicated to the game of SpinItUp! then I see no reason to not have a staff.

I agree. I'm gonna PM some people and ask if they would be interested in it. I will also look at the high scores to see who the best people are and PM them.

heh, I suck at spin it up, but I love it, just as I love beatmania, which I'm better at beatmania just because im a Dj.

Pull together the resources that could help us with this and I think this would be a good idea. There is much potential hidden within SIU.

I really hope we get Lipidman and Sxtrickycotku2 too. They are really good. I really want to improbe SpinItUp! a lot but I'm not exactly sure where to start. If you have any suggestions please tell me.

I'm no good at computer software.
Plus I'm starting year 12 this year so I wouldn't have the time.
The best I could do is be a SIU veteran or something heh..

I'd love to contribute to SIU.

It's an awesome game, it just needs to get out of its beta stages XD.

I could probably help do a lot with it, including spinfile contributions, and other ideas.

EDIT: OOPS, I majorly bumpered this topic, didn't I? >.< My bad. Didn't see the dates.

I think I could definitely help out with this. Although I'm relatively unfamiliar with Flash, I have an excellent understanding of HTML and a great understanding of JavaScript. (I'm in Intro to Computer Science right now: 2nd half of the semester is all JavaScript.) I'm also in the process of teaching myself PHP, and also know how to program any TI-83+/84+ with its default programming language (BASIC, or something like that?). I'm a logical thinker, if that helps, too. :) Plus, I just fricking love SIU, even if I'm not the best at it. Spinfiles, mod, whatever it is, I'd be willing to help; I've run 1 forum and "run" another forum, as well.

ya a SIU staff really needs to be implemented, and not just the normal mods, like tass and stuff, but people who actually PLAY and suggest ideas, and help make it better, definitely need to be a part of the staff
