I quit. Now that I'm working and going to college I hardly have any time to play StepMania. :(

I have been forcing myself to make time to play/step now and then, but it's still really hard.

I download the pack finally (via kbo) and I find out IT SOUNDS LIKE THE LAST F**KING PACK! Like what the f**k, put some actual rip-your-guts-out metal in it. Not this weird Sonata Arctica/Stratovarius/"Power Metal" crap.

i.e. Lamb Of God, Mastodon, Severed Savior, Revocation, etc.

Lol. Anyway, I kinda agree with your point, but power metal in general is much easier to sync than other metal subgenres. I submitted a few death metal files to the pack; Cannibal Corpse - Carrion Sculpted Entity and Putrid Pile - Collection Of Butchery. Only the latter got accepted. You can't really be picky because, as far as I'm aware, there are only a small handful of people who step real extreme metal (not In Flames-kinda stuff) with any regularity.

i dont step the good shit very often because it requires patience and 6-7 hours of free time

though i have tons of wips for plenty of metal files

Extreme Metal = Born of osiris, Veil of Maya, Periphery etc. bands with very technical riffs and complex polyrithms :P

I'm not mad. That's perfectly legit. It was (and probably still is) hard to find good simfiles to *ahem* "rip-your-guts-out" metal, and nobody ever submitted any. Not really my fault.

Also, I happen to like power metal.

I'm honestly flattered that people are still posting in this thread.
