Recurring lag spikes?

I get a small lag spike near the beginning of every song I play, every time. It doesn't usually matter but sometimes turns a perfect into an average, or a miss :o

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

Avoid 1 or more tabs/windows.

It's the same no matter what else I've got running (yeah, including nothing)

Happens to me too. No way to fix it that I have found. Sometimes it just goes away for a while though.

T_T I am disapprove of this.

Someone said it could be that I don't have enough RAM (512MB) but that doesn't explain how the rest of the time the game runs fine :\

You use Firefox 3.5.2 right?

I use Firefox... Something. Yeah.

EDIT: Yeah it's 3.5.2

Try download and use another variation of Firefox. I use Cometbird sometimes.

I always download the new version when one comes out, are you suggesting switching to an older version?

Re: Recurring lag spikes?

No, I mean using another variation. Even though Cometbird is based on Firefox, it runs separately from it.

Happens to me all the time. It often happens more than just at the beginning. I just play in Internet Explorer and it's fine. I always wait until it starts up before switching to IE, it usually takes a little bit.

IE? Guess I could try that, don't think I ever had any problems on it, apart from slow page loading. :P

EDIT: Hmm, no spikes on IE but I get like half the framerate, that's no good.

Ever since I got one of my ram cards removed from my computer, I have noticed this happens all the time now, and it has never lagged once before. I still have 2.5 gigs of ram though.

Maybe get more ram memory?

A very wise stepman once told me that to get rid of lag that occurs in FFR, you must delete your system32 folder.

he's lying, System 32 Folder is your computer.
Deleting it thus deletes your computer.
