Streaming with Procaster
 

To start, I want to say that if this is in the wrong forum category, my apologies, please move it. Rather hard thing to place accurately.

So I stumbled across this thread yesterday about the program Procaster. It is a free downloadable on-screen recording or streaming program, that is also compatable with webcams as well, so far as I know. I am sure that I am not the only one using this, and if there are any other people that use it and want others to watch, I can post the links here along with mine. Then the rest of FFR can watch us do things on the computer, in my case actually play FFR. :D

I'll probably start broadcasting a lot starting from the incoming wednesday *it's when my bandwith reset*. Since i'm a gamewhore it should be on very often. Anyway, cool find guys, this thing is awesome for recording or playing live. It beats all those small webcam recorder programs by far. :lol:

I'd like to add that if you try to broadcast yourself make sure audio speakers or cam *if you got one* are picked or we won't hear you. :]

ps: Dood, i tryed to record with 'game' on Stepmania and the games lags like hell, you're using default setup or something else?

If it's in Stepmania with 'game', lower quality.
If it's in FFR with 'screen', you shouldn't really lag on default setups.

Glad to see other people are acutally using this. I was a little worried it would completely fall flat. Feel free to discuss things about it in this thread as well as the original download thread, of course.
